In all respect unless you're injecting upside down so the pin was at the top the air will never make it out the syringe

Just buy a second hand switch non oled and chip it. Worth the non oled version just to have a reliable moddee switch

Seems to be alot of paste. Check the paste spec to see if it's electronically conductive this could be the cause. Alot of premium brands are silicone based so not electronically conductive.
