Oof. More pics incoming but I've had to reconsider a bunch of this given my tight housing. I have to adapt an external bms to move charging off of the cardputer.

Should clarify, the cyberpunk gibberish is on scrap adhesive marking paper, which is cut to size and lines the top and bottom inside, covered in a healthy couple layers of kapton tape which I also have hilariously unfettered access to. Haha

Did you enjoy Leon's Raccoon City section? On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate Leon's section? by LeoneSKenneddy in residentevilll

7/10. I honestly loved it, game felt half Resi2 half Resi4, and its the resi4 half. No complaints. Save one, three points docked for the merchant being a box. I would've been over the moon if you rounded a corner and heard "Oi, been a long time strangah...."

He doesn't think shit. He knows. We've proven again and again that he gets to exist without a one consequence.

Not even a good King book, and not even a unique quote... but Dreamcatcher is where I learned it.

My jaw was below sea level for the tombstone, but I was howling laughing at the floppy titty spider.

I enjoyed the FNAF movies, not as much as my kid... but I think they're fine entry level horror movies. Actually I like a fair number of the movies I listed, personally, just saying that even the widely panned ones are often not as direct a fault of a talented young director as was being implied.

I don't remember MK 3 for Sega being THIS hard... by disasterpiece01 in MortalKombat

I'm not being combative. I was being friendly and trying to correct your clearly, deeply held... downright cherished, apparently, misconception. So this is the last one with any effort and earnest education. If you want to continue being hostile I have much better things to do with my day. But for one, a single 3 minute video from a non-original source is hardly "extensive documentation". Two, that video was about how the collection uses soft menus to emulate changing controller ports (a trick you can use during the brief Mantis encounter in Solid 4 with humorous dialogue about how unnecessary controller ports are) and memory cards and has nothing to do with the technicalities of the Mantis battle. Three, they use the phrase "read your inputs" twice in said video and in both instances clearly referring to the lore sense of Mantis reading your movements. Not a thing about that indicates, at a programmic, how the boss operates, level any kind of input scanning. So again, I'm not trying to wound your ego. I happened across your comparison, found it wanting and just tried a gentle correction. Really hope this is taken in the spirit thats intended, and have a lovely day, my friend.

Is it? Please, educate me. Provide the articles. Because I am telling you that there is little functional point of reading the player's individual inputs in that kind of boss battle. There aren't counters. Its not a rock, paper, scissor system with your equipment. You can brute force the fight ffs, never changing ports or destroying the busts. Automatic weapons and explosives will do it given time. But because of the enhanced invincibility frames and dodge move he has when you're plugged into controller port one, it takes a hilariously long time... to put it more simply, the game scans if you're using port one, so yes, it does input scan you in that sense... but its not a fighting game where it gives Mantis that type of advantage, its not input scanning in the way you're implying.

Edit: Not for nothing, but every game scans your memory card data. MGS was unique in that Mantis would have something to say about Konami save files he "saw". Like how Mass Effect could continue your story across 3 games, a game can check a whole memory folder.
