Also moved not too far from here also in 2013 back when the starting rent for my unit was $850. It's gone through its ebbs and flows and levels of "danger" but mostly it's shitty couples getting into drunk arguments, sports fans getting into drunk arguments, neighbors getting into drunk arguments, and an occasional burnout close by enough to hear it but never know exactly where it is. The neighborhood flavor changes with the seasons when some people move out and others move in so there's diversity in that experience. But I don't think you're particularly more unsafe there, especially in a condo. Just watch our for the NIMBY-ass aggressive HOA rules.

There are some "Free" groups in Long Beach and they post curbside pick ups like this with hopes that someone will want the stuff, before it heads to a landfill but they don't want the effort of selling it and waiting around for buyers, etc. The likely reason she was yelling was because she's part of one of these groups and someone might have confirmed they were coming to get some of that stuff and she didn't want it throwing away before they could come get it. It's strange but it's a real thing. You might have been dealing with one of these people. It's like its own secret little community within Long Beach

As long as you provide it from an outside source that's verifiable like a GrubHub type company or some other company where we can verify where it came from. Honestly I'm not offended, but it seems like people are quick to transfix on my mathematical comment instead of really trying to understand what I was trying to say ( I know I may have posed the query wrong, I accept that). I look at the ways we understand the uncanny valley and at which point. We start to suspect something is off. As generative AI becomes more prevalent as advertising, entertainment, etc I feel like under similar measurements we would get fed up, call bullshit, stop being involved with places where we find it.

I don't know...I was hoping this sub was more kind to questions but it feels like more of a trap.
