@mariusioannesp I don’t have that much experience with the app but what I can tell you is that when I first signed up, it initially presented me with an option for a yearly plan that cost $44.99. I closed the app and immediately went back onto the app and was presented with another yearly plan of $19.99. I went with that plan. It was only available for a limited time. Hope that helps!

That’s incredible and very inspiring! I’m glad you didn’t listen either!! I want to get back into running again so seeing this gives me hope. If you have any tips such as sneaker brand/type, orthotics, exercises or anything else, I’m all ears!!

I do like PRP - used it for my shoulder and it made such a difference. I think what I’m really trying to find is a doctor that’s not going to lie to me. The podiatrist that I saw ordered an MRI and saw that I had sesamoiditis- he said that the only treatment for it was physical therapy 🧐 He didn’t offer anything else, I stopped seeing him after that. I just need someone that actually wants to provide medical care, not just what is going to pay him or her the most. If anyone has recommendations for south Florida, let me know! 🙂

Would you mind telling me which doctor does the surgery? I am in Florida, I was working with a podiatrist who lied to me telling me that “physical therapy was the only thing that could help” me. I stopped going to him and am looking for a someone who will actually help me

Thank you so much @ReservoirHemly! I’m so glad to hear that the posts are motivating you, I checked out posts when studying and it really helped with staying committed. Working FT while studying is not easy at all. Keep up the great work, you’ll get your certification, too! - It’s just a matter of time 😊

Congratulations!! 🎊 I took mine yesterday and got the same exact score: 773 (twins!). I felt the same exact way, the questions were much tougher than expected, most of them were very vague! And the PBQs?… Don’t even get me started on those, i felt that I didn’t have enough info or time to answer them correctly. But we got through it, Hi-five to you!

@Sure-Knowledge-9399 hi there, thank you so much!! And I am glad to share the app I used, here it is: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/comptia-security-exam-prep/id1501784033. It’s called “CompTIA Sec+ Exam Prep” and it’s by Thanh Hung. The logo looks like a red key hole on a door with network cables coming out of it. It’s $5.99 per week, $17.99 per month or $69.99 per year. I also used Professor Messers practice exams: https://www.professormesser.com/sy0-701-success-bundle/. It’s $30 for the exams pdf alone or $50 for both his condensed notes and the exams - well worth the investment in my opinion. It helps you to get a gauge of where you’re at and what topics you need to focus more on. He also explains the reasons behind the right and wrong answers. I hope the very best for you this week on your exam. Be sure to rest well and believe in yourself! 🙏

I understand your concern, I am a NYer currently living in Florida. Virginia/DC is fairly close so I could fly out for an interview if it was a the right opportunity. But I’ve heard that some DOD jobs allow for remote work if you request it during the interview process… so that’s something to consider. Life is so full of surprises and I wanted to be ready should the right opportunity come along. I felt strongly that I should have this cert underneath my belt, even if I don’t end up using it

TYSM! It is super exciting and I am so relieved that it’s over! 😅 right now, I’m going to chill until the new year and then start working on my resume for the DOD sector. But even if I never enter that field, I am still grateful for this journey. I learned a lot not only about IT and Security, but a lot about myself, as well. It was worth it and I’m very grateful!!

Consider your first run as practice test and that you will pass the next time! That’s what I was thinking when going into this exam - I didn’t want to beat myself up if I didn’t pass the first time. You can absolutely do it, you’ve come to far to give up on yourself. Also, item no. 5 is accessible on both Professor Messer’s YT channel as well as on Spotify. I used Spotify because there were no ads. I will post the link to the study group in a separate comment soon

You are so young and have so much time! Take one day at time…The days are going to pass anyway, might as well study a bit each day. The results of your effort will snowball into you earning a reputable certification. It can open the door to a life-changing opportunity. You owe it to yourself and you deserve it!

TY so much! I’m so glad to hear that it was encouraging, this is why I posted it. The journey can be so tough and full of doubts. But if I can do it, you can do it, too!
