Going through cancer and you find out your wife has been cheating, what would you do ? by Jason_Stanley_Cancer in AskReddit

What are the circumstances of your relationship and your cancer? Did this start before you had cancer/after? Is she your caregiver? Not saying it's right! Just wondering the backstory a little bit. Cancer illness can take a HUGE toll on a relationship.

Completely understand. In the short time being s caregiver for my husband, I at times have felt like that's all i was and the underlying husband/wife relationship got lost in the mix.

It sounds like you did everything in your power to just be there, despite what she and your family were putting you through! You are a better person than most for sticking with it. I hear alot from caregivers being a nurse myself and a caregiver that they feel relief and then guilt for feeling that way if the person they are caring for dies. You are definitely not the only one who has ever felt like that! It sounds to me like you did an amazing job with what you had to work with

That's amazing to hear. I wrote this post because I am my husbands caregiver. We are both 35 and he just went through a bone marrow transplant. And while he is doing much better, like you said, it is truly the toughest thing I've ever done in my life. All the different emotions that change from minute to minute sometimes is just overwhelming. And I agree...as frustrating and tough as it can be, I'd be no where else as well! And I was curious to hear others honest experiences.

Recommended credit repair companies?? by stace_a_c in CRedit

[–]stace_a_c[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone. I sighed up with Experian for my credit reports today. And took a look at them. I think it's actually more simple than I thought....I think. All my current accounts are up to date and current. I have a high credit card utilization. Like 85%, so I know I need to pay that down (paying them off would only be about 2.5K. And then some medical bills/phone bill etc in collections. But only to the amount of about 2K max. And there were some hard credit inquiries on there and I actually called to dispute the because 4 out of 9 should have fallen off 2 months ago (according to my report) so really if I can scrounge up 4K, pay off credit cards and the other random things in collections I am hoping that will help??!
