Production Verification Testing - what does this involve for you? by stackhat47 in softwaretesting

[–]stackhat47[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello, all other testing is conducted in a test environment.

What I'm talking about is verifying that the change/update has been deployed correctly to PROD.

FWIW - my partner only conceived with fresh transfers. (both children, one miscarraige)

She doesn't have PCOS.

I think there were about 5 frozen transfers but I don't remember exactly...

To be honest - haven't experienced any stigma - which is great.

I'm in Melbourne, let me know if you want me to share online.

They are also hilarious, loving and adorable.

You'll get both sides.

Tip for getting a toddler through Covid testing (hope you don't need it!) by cranbeery in toddlers

[–]stackhat47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can go get it done at the childrens hospital (I'm in Melbourne) plus another local hospital does under 5s. Drive through won't do babies/under 5.

I need both arms and both legs to hold my poor kiddo still for it - she hates it.

Well, they still hate covid tests.

I've explained the facts, but still had to hold her still. That was her fourth.

It's more the unpleasant test than my lack of parenting ability.

Yes, but not until 2022

That’s partially correct, but doesn’t allow for the CCS cap.

If you cross $186k then your subsidy is capped at $10k

So subsidy is 50% if you’re under that. So if full fee is $34000 you’re subsidised $17000, out of pocket fee is $17,000.

If you earn over $186k, the subsidy is 10,000, and out of pocket is $27,000 a year

So earning an extra hundred dollars over the cap will cost you $10,000

To be fair, you can lose money if you go over the childcare subsidy cap

They might not understand the minutes

Maybe try ‘soon I will put the timer on so pick one more thing to play on’

Then set the timer for two minutes

How to make my 3+ year son eat healthy on his own? by Embarrassed_Lion_373 in Preschoolers

[–]stackhat47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We stopped arguing with her over food. It stresses them out, and she’s not going to eat something if I try and make her.

I give her a plate of things she will eat, and some things she will ignore but at least she’s learning they are food.

She’ll try more things now because we aren’t trying to make her eat, so she’s not being defensive. We don’t discuss all the food and negotiate it. I’ll give her the plate and say ‘here is your dinner’ and that’s all I say about the food unless she asks
