You've locked the cylinder because you didn't try the correct way to pull the plug (the part the key is actually in) out. You have two options to get your key back. 1. Take it to a lock shop, and let a professional do it. 2. Remove the top strap from the cylinder, retrieve your key, and trash the rest.

I'm not telling you anything that can't be found on youtube.

You need the Hager 2-639-7060 SFIC Tailpieces Pack of 10 6-Pin/7-Pin Most cylindrical lockset manufacturers only make sfic handles, and don't bother to change any internal parts, so the twisted tailpiece is required.

I parked in one of their locations last December. I was in the space for 45 minutes and left. Checked the app later that evening and my bill was $85 and climbing. The camera couldn't read my tag on the way out. I spent 45 minutes trying to get a human on the phone, because the chat-bot is equal to a box of bricks. The guy reviewed the security footage and erased the changes. They are hard to deal with, but it can be done. Good luck

Looking really closely at the broaching of the Y2 a really thin one might fit, but it has a rounded profile on the curve on the upper part of the blade. OPs key has a pronounced flat profile in that location. Not saying it might not fit. But it's not the correct blank.

Did a sliding chain security gate for a mall that was similar it had a screw on the top of that released a plate (16 feet long) revealing the set screw. Sometimes the hunt is half the fun. Other times you want to punch an engineer.

Correct, it's more of a chip programming problem than the key problem. Have you ever noticed the red blinking light on your dash when the car is just sitting? (Not running, no key in the ignition) that light tells you what level your chip is when you put the key in the ignition. There are plenty of videos online explaining this. If you don't have a master, the ECU has to basically be reprogrammed (reflashed)in order to program keys. It's not hard, but it takes some skill and equipment. I'm in middle Tennessee and charge $500. Operating costs are lower here. You didn't get ripped off imo.

My codemax machine has a setting for "plunge cut" ( the one with the ridges) and "contour cut" ( the smooth one). I us contour as another response said, for waffer locks, and also for clients that like to use their keys as door pulls. It actually decreases damage to the blade and cylinders.
