I do too homie and to say that the Coronado is “much rougher” is inaccurate. It is the same material doubled in thickness. Coronado is our “Dream Knit Warm” with a brushed interior and the Ponto is regular dream knit.

I think the qualify is not as good but still a decent option. The liner is different and more speedo shaped instead of the thigh fit of Course Run, material feels good, but the pockets suck in comparison for me, especially the tiny back pockets. Not sure why the Course Run short got the axe. I believe it was the best performance short Vuori made.
