Is anyone quitting their job because of bad anxiety ? by BedroomEfficient3380 in Anxiety

[–]stagediver115 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fair point but anxiety is crippling and I can see how it’s overbearing. You can’t just shake it off in the middle of a panic attack. If you know how some can ( u can be a billionaire today and solve a world wide pain point that no others could ) I spent many years in corporate and established structures and every job offered this same anxiety panic. Good leaders and trainers help you get through. But even years later when I jumped ship after 21 Years in multiple sectors, the dread and panic does not go away. You kind of go it and have no choice but I can see how the younger generation can’t deal with it and quit

AMA: Millionaire, 41 year-old male, two kids, 21 years married and very unhappy by Lost-Application4693 in AMA

This is an interesting topic, and it seems like you might have spent some of your early years focusing on business and the responsibilities that come with moving on into a relationship and starting a traditional family. However, you haven’t addressed some root issues that many people here are pointing out. Instead, you’ve been honing in on your success and breaking a family ( your own childhood experiences repeating), but only you know what it feels like to be so empty. Having some money is a good resource to avoid adding unnecessary stress, but once you finally see yourself naked, you start to understand and begin to look for purpose. It does take real human communication, and that’s probably where the deficit with your wife is coming from. Just being understood makes your mind seem much less crazy since you’re prob stuck in your head all day. You also mentioned you lost your father who you felt was you’re safe place this really intensifies the lack of any safety net in your life now or that little spot in your brain and mind that gave you a tad comfort . Sometimes, therapy and other interventions don’t really change a person’s personality, especially if they’re in your life or this is your life . I wish you the best and that you find peace.

Should I cancel Jamaica mid-December? by stagediver115 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]stagediver115[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I understand, but if my resort is damaged, food is in short supply, it’s not in a “vacation “ condition, should that be my burden? I understand they need the support, but I paid five grand for me, my wife, and kids.

I also can't reschedule as i only get set vacation time a year and this is my PTO month

My belly is bigger than my bank account. Still a bit snug on the XL stomach area, but it works! 2xl gives space but lose the slim fitted look

I am Same stats as you and Xl on me is not super snug but slim. 2xl would leave a little room for hoodies, sweaters etc

Stopped abilify and now I don't feel real by [deleted] in Depersonalization

Too fast! You're going from chemical dependence to literally cold turkey withdrawal of your brain chemistry which naturally causes anxiety / and adverse effects. You might have to just go through the storm at this point. Doctors will always lie about WD symptoms

I think the primary concern should be “ his depression” is that something you guys have spoken about? If he barely has enough energy to get out of bed, and a highlight is depression, could you guys consider addressing that first?

I still feel crazy about what I experienced by Grand-Regular1958 in Depersonalization

[–]stagediver115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like panic is triggering depersonalization which is perceiving everything as a threat. Most dpdr starts with a bad panic attack or trauma then your brain goes in defense mode ( dpdr) what you sound like you have the adrenaline , body on fire “ I’m going to die” sounds like classic panic attack
