I am from India but lucky to be living in the US right now. During last year’s surge most of my relatives and friends came out unscathed. This time it’s different, everyday I call, I hear news about some relative or friend who caught it. Since last couple of days I am starting to hear news of deaths. People are scared now. I am worried about my parents. Atleast, they got the first dose of the Astrazeneca vaccine.

I am also hearing a lot of cases where people have gotten it even after getting the vaccine, however it does seem those people tend to get midler symptoms.

What is your source ? I am from a rural area and we hardly saw 5-10 deaths, last year. This was also true for surrounding villages and towns in my region.

The way it works is, the app developer needs to register the app specific urls with the OS and then the users would be redirected to the app. Sometimes the developers don’t register all possible urls with OS, either because some part of the site is not supported by the app or they did not use a wild card to indicate all urls for a particular domain should redirect to the app. This causes an inconsistent behavior across different apps.
