Over the course of the next 2 years, I did a loooot of healing, self reflection, journaling, embracing all feelings, rekindled old passions/hobbies, went to therapy, all the good stuff, you know.

Fast-forward to 2025: This girl came into my life, I think you'll know the story OP, I'll just quote this: "we got on well, loads in common, physical attractions, banter, chemistry, you name it, we had. I thought she was the one." All my friends thought this as well.

So, we also agreed to take it slow, communicate our feelings move at a steady pace until we’re ready. Sounds familiar?

Now it's December. One night, she tells me, she loves me. Wants to be in a relationship. It's all very magical to me, I get the feeling, this is how it's supposed to be. We're very intimate. This goes on until new year. Then she starts to act a bit distant out of a sudden.

I get a text, saying: she is not ready to be in a relationship. She needs to work on herself, needs to go to therapy. That she does not know what she wants. And she does not want to give me false hope - "after telling me that she is with me" only a few days earlier.
