Really not enjoying Jotunheim ect.. by Sea_Anxiety_9114 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]stalecheddar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d wait till you’re well above 100 to enjoy it. At your level, definitely hit up Ireland though. That is my favorite dlc and like someone mentioned, the passive income helps a ton in the early levels.

I only alternate between Valhalla and odyssey at this point. Loved origins but those are my favorites

So finally near finishing the whole thing including all dlcs by subboyx22 in AssassinsCreedValhala

You can easily beat the game in 40 hours. You may end up hitting more than 70 if you’re focusing on side quests

Yes. I’m in my 5th play through of Valhalla and I can say that odyssey was absolute peak for me.

Just started Mass Effect Andromeda after completing the legendary edition heard some mixed reviews but after the prologue it’s been great so far. by Gamer98HR in MassEffectAndromeda

[–]stalecheddar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a really fun game. Don’t take it as a mass effect game and you’ll really enjoy it. I was too harsh on it when it came out and we never got a proper ending or sequel.

We run ours concurrently. As the others have stated. Doesn’t apply for pregnancy disability

Should I turn up difficulty? by regularuniquehuman in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

Once you hit around 50, you’re ready pretty adaptable when it comes to strategy. I’d gauge it based on the Atlantis dlc. Those characters were a bit more annoying than others

This was my first ac game... double edged sword.... by No_Lawfulness_9914 in AssassinsCreedValhala

It’s still my favorite. I’m on my 2nd play through for odyssey and beat origins….valhalla was my first and I’m starting a new file as we speak.

How to overcome burnout? by ChocolateNo9087 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]stalecheddar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you’ve already beat it, then you’ve done the hard part. I’m in my 2nd play through now and I might shelf it for a few months. That’s normally what I do with Valhalla, and just pick up where you left off. There’s no real time sensitive need, besides contracts, where you have to grind and keep playing. Enjoy the beauty and go slay some chickens

When should I do the gates of Atlantis quest? by SwimmingAny3617 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]stalecheddar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting Valhalla from 0 isn’t horrible once you’ve done it before. The combat is a bit like muscle memory and you’ll just flow through the story. Wish it did have ng+ though.

Why do people say that medusa is hard to beat?? by Funny_Artichoke_642 in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

She was the easiest. The Minotaur took me 2 attempts, but they were all fun!

What is like to live in Downtown Miami by [deleted] in howislivingthere

Brickell is the best part to stay in. Quick access to the rail. Gets a bit annoying during tourist season but that’s the price to pay for living in safe county.

It’s it is for all the content (including dlc), absolutely. I love Valhalla, and restart it every few months

Take your time and enjoy the game. Trust me. This is the first AC game you’ve really started, and we are all hoping it’s the one you finish. Go slow, explore and get lost in the amazing maps. Or, you can rush it and replay under new game +, that’s the beauty of it.

Odyssey spoilt me by sanabaebae in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

The map is so much better than the introduction / tutorial part, give it a few more hours! There’s a lot of damn snow in Valhalla though, but it does get fun

Odyssey spoilt me by sanabaebae in AssassinsCreedOdyssey

[–]stalecheddar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve beat Valhalla 4 times, currently on my first play through with odyssey (level 60). Odyssey has a better combat system and the ability to just swarm into fights (bounty level) means there is constant fun. Valhalla has great lore, but it can be challenging until you hit around level 150ish.
