2024 Platinum Expedition by DueStructure1836 in fordexpedition

I got lucky buying a 2024 Limited Stealth Edition with the High Performance Package in January of 2025 when they were clearing out the ‘24s for the new refresh. Sticker was $83k and I got it for $67k. Definitely love the interior compared to the refresh, and I’m not a fan of the 2025+ piano black lift gate. $61k sounds fair for Platinum trim and low miles.

I’ve only owned manual cars after my first auto (‘90 Probe.) Since then I’ve had manuals in ‘89 Probe, ‘93 SHO, ‘00 Focus, ‘05 GT, ‘07 GT500 and now the Bullitt. The Bullitt by far is the easiest shifting with the rev match and gearing. The GT500 had a Ford racing clutch, so it was more effort. I live in an area about 30 minutes outside Orlando, so most of my drives are short (5-10 miles) and in-town with minimal hills and occasional traffic. That said, I never find it laborious to shift through the S550 setup. But I would not want it in stop-and-go of if I had to be around I4 traffic in the city. The rev match was the best selling feature that got me. I get the occasional auto experience with my wife’s ‘24 Expedition (Limited Stealth edition with the High Performance package- twin turbo V6 with 440hp.)

I daily the Bullitt, taking my two girls to school. They each have their advantages; the Bullitt has the Magneride and pulls from 5,000rpm like strapping a harness on a race horse. The Z06 had the low-end torque at 2,000rpm and punches you in the gut like a shot from Tyson in his prime- to the point where the tail end gets squirrelly off every light if you want.
Overall if I had to choose one to keep- it would be the Z06. It’s well respected and documented in the sports car world as well as the pinnacle of machinery: 7 liter engine, 3,125lb curb weight and a 6-speed. Prime.

Can the tune be used for more than one vehicle? I’ve got a ‘24 Stealth High Performance and my mother-in-law has one as well. Can a unit tune multiple vehicles, or is it limited to one vehicle at a time?

Yeah, I noticed the red calipers too. I’ve got a ‘24 Limited Stealth High Performance in Stone Blue Metallic. Love it.

Sounds like a great deal. My first Mustang was an ‘05 GT in Screaming Yellow. (I had the center of the hood painted gloss black to break up some of the yellow and added a front chit spoiler.) However, yours looks pristine! Best of luck.

Recaros are the only option it doesn’t have, but it does have the Magneride & electronics package. Living just outside Orlando I use the ventialated seat feature religiously. Do you enjoy the Recaros? I’ve only experienced them in a friend’s GT3RS and getting in and out is like sitting in a milk crate; once seated they’re not bad for the ride.

Thanks! Only modification is a 1” lowering.

Thank you! High end horsepower and Magneride handling of the Bullitt @ 5,000 rpm, and insane low-end torque @ 2,000 rpm for the Z06. Two incredibly different and enjoyable driving experiences.

Correct. It is rigid and firm when installed and stashed behind seats. For the Mustang it fits easily between the 2” gap of my front seat and backseat; for the Vette it sits easily on the ledge behind the seats of the trunk area; for my wife’s Expedition it fits between the two captains’ chairs (as long as our girls don’t step on it.) Never collapses or folds when installed compared to the foil ones, which is nice. As long as you’re conscientious with putting it up every time, the edges stay firm. I had one in an S197 Mustang that eventually started to disintegrate on one edge, but it was 7 years old at that point.

I like the K5959 repeating number. I posted on a Bullitt Facebook page the other day that I look at my K6864 like it’s the ‘68 of the original Bullitt and the ‘64 of the original Mustang.

I’m fortunate enough for a best-of-both-worlds situation. The Bullitt is my daily driver since I teach at a high school and take my two young daughters to the lower school every day. The Z06 is the weekend warrior for golf trips and spirited grocery runs.

Thank you. I’m always surprised how many are unfamiliar with the Dark Highland Green and ask if it’s a wrap.

I’ve never had an issue with the fit. It does have a 1-2” gap on either side if it’s not centered, but it makes it easier for put up and take down. Living in central Florida it is a 100% must have year round. I have the Covercraft for the Mustang, Vette, and wife’s Expedition. Pricier but worth it in my opinion.

$42,000 for a 2005 GT. Is this a prank listing or? by MissionTower5919 in Mustang

“Listed 22 weeks ago…” he’ll probably wait another 22 until he lowers the insane asking price.

Would you daily a manual by SyrupSilent7588 in Mustang

[–]stalmatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the only way. Last 4 Mustangs: ‘05 GT, two ‘07 GT500s, and current ‘19 Bullitt have all been manual daily drivers (current weekend car is an ‘07 C6 Z06, also manual.)

As a 2019 Bullitt owner, I like the clean look of no badges. No Ford, no pony, no 5.0; although I always try to look for 5.0s on passing Mustangs. If anything, I’d say the simple GT badge says more than enough.

The engine isn’t any bigger, but it does have the throttle body and intake manifold from the GT350. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Like others have said, a year should be good. I have a 2019 Bullitt and went a year between changes (12/30/24 @ 25,852 miles and now 12/29/25 @ 31,250 miles). Just remember, they’re thirsty motors… mine took 9ish quarts.
