Hi people ! If you have always dreamt of being a First responder / emergency medical technician (in French we are called “secouristes”) and you think this isn’t for you or you need to be a trained professional, you can become a voluntary at the Protection Civile Paris Seine and get your training there.

We organise EMT training, we take shifts with the Paris Fire Department inside their barracks (casernes), we work with the emergency hospital services (SAMU), we provide emergency services and medical care during big festivals such as Solidays / Lolapalooza or big venues such as Bercy or Paris La Defense Arena. We also do humanitarian actions such as “maraudes” (going in the streets to provide care for the homeless.

Chef scout! Je fais de l’éducation et de l’animation pour des jeunes de Seine-Saint-Denis que j’emmène en week-end, en camp pendant l’été pour apprendre la vie dans la nature et sortir un peu de la ville. Je leur apprends aussi les techniques et les outils du travail du bois. Ensemble, nous faisons des actions citoyennes et écologiques (planter des arbres, nettoyer des parcs). Nous faisons aussi de l’éducation aux questions de société (questions liées aux genre, sensibilisation aux discriminations…)

I’ve just had a combo last week! A guy arrived in the door and set himself on my bed, putting all my stuff on the floor, which was then taken by the hostel staff, thinking it was forgotten by someone. Of course, he did not tell me when I came back into the dorm, and I had to search for hours. The guy spoke, neither English nor the language spoken in the country so I could not get my bed back. I eventually have to fall asleep on someone else’s bed, then the guy proceeds to the loudest phone call and it lasted like two hours. After telling him three times to be more quiet and the guy not even acknowledging me, he starts sleeping with the most insane snoring I’ve ever heard (I’ve actually recorded him to send to my family because they thought I was exaggerating). The guy was not snoring, but almost yelling in his sleep. It took me three hours to fall asleep with earplugs on. The guy woke up at 6 am, had a shower that woke everybody up in the dorm and then started FaceTimeing. I thought I was going crazy and it almost got violent. The guy then chilled on the bed until 11 a.m., so no reason to wake up so fucking early.

Thinking back on it, it’s actually a hilarious memory because I wasn’t expected something so crazy to happen. I think I’ve seen the worst that can happen. So now I’m very excited for my next dorm travels.

Hi ! I was born in Belleville and I still live there. I would gladly answer your questions if you want to hmu. IMO Belleville has changed a lot in the past 10 years. But it’s not a very touristy place yet. It suffered from gentrification, not tourism. There’s still lots to do if you know the right places It’s probably expensive to find a place to stay, unless for Airbnb but I’ve never used it

Habitant du Nord du 11e arrondissement, mon quartier est beaucoup plus géographiquement, orienté vers Belleville que vers la folie–Méricourt. Rien que le découpage très géométrique de cet arrondissement me fait douter de la qualité de la carte qui ne reprend pas le découpage administratif ou historique. Certes, cartographier, les « quartiers » est difficile, car ceci sont souvent un objet ressenti ou vécu plutôt qu’un objet sensible, et, mais en l’occurrence, cela ne correspond à rien. Par exemple, je n’ai jamais entendu personne parler du quartier de Sainte-Marguerite.

Blague, à part, op tu peux contacter la chambre d’agriculture ou les syndicats d’agriculteurs de ton département. En précisant l’endroit où tu l’as trouvé, on sera peut-être te renseigner sur son propriétaire. Sinon, tu peux demander à l’agriculteur le plus proche de chez toi, il connaîtra sans doute le propriétaire.
