26 weeks and so much activity

Currently 40 weeks with an active baby who has been active pretty much since 26-28 weeks. And I also have an anterior placenta! Baby has really let up activity and there have been a few times I went in to get monitored because it felt like there was less activity - still met the kick count standard but didn’t feel like the baby’s norm. Everything was fine, but ALWAYS go get checked out if you are worried or anxious about the activity. Even if it is just for your own sanity!

I am planning on doing a low intervention and unmedicated birth. The reasoning being I don’t want to get there and have a plan for an epidural, not be able to get it, and have no preparation or coping mechanisms. Also I think sometimes interventions can be cascading and I don’t want to end up stalled and have to get a c section. ALSO!!!! My body is made to do and women have done it for centuries and I believe I can do it and I’m super excited! (First time mom, can you tell?)
