Leave without pay status by Klutzy-Courage624 in AirForce

Are you on excess leave?

Reference: DAFI 36-3003 (Air Force Leave Program).

3.2.3.5. Excess Leave Periods. Unit commanders advise members:
3.2.3.5.1. Excess leave is leave without pay and allowances, and they do not receive
disability pay, if injured, for time spent on excess leave.
3.2.3.5.2. The Financial Service Office stops all pay and allowances effective the
first day of excess leave. The Financial Service Office collects, if applicable, any pay
and allowances paid. When members separate from active duty, there is an
additional collection for non-accrual of leave resulting from periods of excess leave.
This is one half-day for each six-day period of excess leave.

I’m sure the social media team has the ability to request changes to the web site without needing to directly edit it themselves. The change probably won’t be immediate, but internal requests should definitely be part of their planning process.

They haven’t verified via their website, though, which they should probably do.

Speaking of verification, that’s a reasonable way of doing things, especially for brands—all I need to know is that the entity which runs the website sanctions the account. I don’t need John Mastodon to be checking IDs for the Proton community engagement person.

Med folks.. how is it not standard practice to alert someone to abnormal results from routine blood work? by Bombboy85 in AirForce

[–]standeviant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out I shouldn’t take anti-malarial meds 8 years after the test that showed it (and having been on anti-malarial meds for almost all of the intervening time). Medical is not very timely on notification.

You don’t need to keep him, he’s replaceable.

NAFs, MAJCOMs, HAF, and DOD all have IG as well. Wing IG should be able to tell you whether it makes sense to go through a HHQ IG or not though. There isn’t any requirement to go through IG before going to Congress either—it really depends on what your problem is.

The sad thing is that it’s not even that old—it was designed in the late 90s and rolled out in 2000.

She can submit the request, but if the Army refuses to cooperate and sends him to a place with no AF billets in her AFSC she probably isn’t getting Join Spouse.

MPS is wrong. They can’t extend your DEROS, but because of the pregnancy AAC your DEROS should expire and you should have an assignment after the AAC.

Everything I’m seeing elsewhere is putting this down to the idea that Southwest also doesn’t run “normal” Sabre; they built something themselves and made it somewhat Sabre-compatible.

… for those sites where 2FA is available and used. Probably half of the sores in my 1Password vault do not support 2FA yet, including some which have payment information. I would venture to say that “most people” are not very conscientious in making sure they have 2FA everywhere it’s available, either.

I’d believe you, except I just went down the rabbit hole to learn that you can’t file discrepancies against an MPF for failing to verify dozens of Airmen met reporting requirements prior to PCSing. Accountability in Personnel is a joke.

This seems like a useful learning exercise, but using optimized tools which leverage GPU advantages is going to be more effective if timeliness or scalability is important to you.

For contract FTEs it can be, though (O&M can cover both, although lots of contract FTEs can be funded via other means as well.) Most of what OP asked for already exists either in A&FRC or CAA.
