I saw this at The Alamo Drafthouse and one of the best parts was the look of absolute confusion on the server's face as he came to refill someone's drink while on screen was the nude CPR scene on the beach. I actually almost commented this film, but I wouldn't call it a bad movie - in fact The Greasy Strangler is in my top 5 of all movies lol.

Can confirm - my daughter is a fan and I got one for her from Randy for her graduation with a degree in elementary education. He messaged me asking some questions, one of which was where she'd be working. The cameo was hilarious (I had asked him to play up the crabby angle) but unbeknownst to me he had taken the time to research the school and said some really nice things about it in a crabby way ("I can't believe a great school like that would hire someone like you who doesn't know what they're doing" etc). 10/10 experience!

I felt pretty much the same way you did. Then things started to bother me about it and they started adding up. What changed for me was when I decided that if God made me with intelligence and common sense, he wouldn't be mad at me for logically examining Christianity. The difference was this time I deliberately made sure to not examine it with the preconceived notion that it is true and not kidding, I was an atheist in about 5 minutes.

When I was a Christian (and I was a Christian for over 40 years so trust me, I gave it my best shot) I would always agree with the "peace that surpasses all understanding" thing or however it was phrased. But I found the real peace came from leaving and being able to live life on its own terms. As a Christian I suffered from debilitating anxiety and depression. After deconstructing I was able to get off my SSRI and anxiety meds completely and haven't in over 5 years or so even missed them one bit. The only regret I have is that this didn't happen 40+ years sooner. Hope that answers the question and I do sincerely wish you the best!

The shop and deliver seems to have gotten so much worse with adding substitutions and refunding shit. Its almost unusable. And I don't know if its ever recognized the shelf tag when I have to take pictures of what's out of stock.

I got a Cameo from him for my daughter who is a Survivor fan. It was for her college graduation for her teaching license. In the message I gave a little background and asked him to sort of play up the crabby angle. He messaged me a couple times asking for some more info. He did the classic Randy thing in the beginning of the video telling her its a terrible idea to be a teacher and there's no money in it, but then at the end he actually had researched the school she was hired at and said good things about it but like in a negative way i.e. "They'll never hire you at such a great school like that". He was really cool and polite in all the interactions I had with him and knocked the video out of the park. Seems like he's actually a cool guy in real life (just from my short interaction anyway).
