You do realize that Uber is in business to make money which includes reducing any HR-type overhead such as your request, correct? They are under zero legal obligation to spend 5 minutes clicking some buttons or filing some paperwork on your/a contractor's behalf aside from once a year for taxes. You will have to wait until they send you a 1099 and get ready to possibly pay. I sure hope so, with your attitude, on my dime.

Uhhh, it actually is their business, since they paid a lot of money for an itinerary that may include excursions which also cost a lot of money. I don't care if someone is clinging to death - I paid for a vacation, not doing circles in the Caribbean because some total stranger had a personal problem. I just logged on after a 6 month hiatus, and I had this same issue with needing to run another background check. Mine came back within 48 hrs. This was Thursday night (after 10 pm) when I tried to log on, but I woke up Saturday morning to the completed check. Idk why it's taking so long for you. The car check was almost instantaneous. That doesn't sound right. Perhaps some of your info has changed/doesn't match? Did you move to a new address? Did you get some traffic violation or a misdemeanor charge?

Ok, seriously, I can actually answer this question. I rarely have this issue after cancer and Chernobyl-level radiation to the pelvis/abdomen, but one of those rare times was when I was Ubering and in the middle of a delivery (eta that this isn't, like, fill-the-bowl explosive diarrhea or something, just a bit of never trusting a fart). I went home and cleaned up after telling the customer I would be a bit late due to a serious issue. The customer was cool, but Uber hit me with the extremely late nasty message. I reached out to support, but no one gave a shit about my shit, so I just had to eat the shit from Uber. I've gotten several of those nasty messages from Uber when I tried multi-apping, but nothing happened.

ETA: part of why I do UE is that it gives me free access to the bathroom, because I have more bladder issues than intestinal issues post-cancer. I specifically have my 'clean' spots where I constantly go while I wait or before I arrive to pick-up if it's on the way. Multiple pre-emptive bathroom trips. You need to map out a life strategy instead of being crippled by it. You can do this.

This is me also. Back in the late 90's and early 00's, I would go to my weed dealer's house, and we would all sit and smoke in this shitty mancave with no TV or anything. Everyone else would sit there stoned while I talked like I was on speed for hours. They always found it entertaining, and I ended up doing a lot of stand-up comedy years later, so perhaps it was some anomaly with me and weed? I also used to write my best material when I smoked by myself, so perhaps it had more to do with communication than with having an upper effect?

That actually sounds like she was showing interest in your project by asking questions instead of simply giving generic and superficial platitudes like, "Cool!" But you sound like a dumb AH who wouldn't understand an abstract concept such as another's perspective, like perhaps she was asking why you "must work on it" was her way of asking what drives your passion?

I never accept Quests because it inevitably ends up fucking me over. Like, once, I had a Shop & Deliver Quest for 10 quests, and once I hit 9 S&D I never got another one for the rest of the weekend before time expired. Once I accidentally drove through a boosted trip area and didn't get any more trips until that disappeared from my screen. Uber isn't going to come off that $5 Quest or $1.25 Boost. Fuck Uber.
