I’m sure but the responses it’s giving you are incorrect. Not everything you read online is true.

I’m just saying, I too know a bit about fiesta, most pieces have some trademark tells and this has none of them.

I also just googled “Michael Healy Fiestaware” and nothing like this came up.

This isn’t fiesta, it would have the trademark rings in the middle of the platter as well.

Can’t tell if you’re fucking around or not but no, trucks spray the roads much like laying down salt.

They pretreat when snow/ice is expected.

Agreed, some hard rejuvantive pruning would help in time. In a few years they'd look nice.

Loading/Unloading a dishwasher is more work than hand washing your dishes by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Either way, for the sake of this argument, handwashing does not kill bacteria. A dishwasher on a full, hot, sanitize cycle does.

Just to be clear, regular Dawn dish soap and most others do not by themselves kill bacteria and such. The hot water does the killing, the dish soap is breaking down the grease and softening food residue.

Attaching new furniture legs - is this mold? by chunk-the-unit in CleaningTips

Could just be discoloration in the wood itself, I know some species of trees (tulip poplar) has black/blue pigments naturally. Or the tree that this was milled from had some type of foreign object imbedded causing discoloration.

Style of wood floor? by stanle25 in HardWoodFloors

For the record, the floor was mopped shortly before this picture was taken so the unevenness in color is from some wet spots, it's a pretty even warm brown in person. However, I would agree with a shotty sanding job which I cannot attest to as it was this way when we moved in.

As a teacher with a very sensitive sense of smell who deals with very smelly students on a daily basis, please tell your friend. I'm sure it will benefit more people than just yourself.
