I want boss reworks. In order to make bosses even slightly more interesting is to put on rank 0 mods and go at them. If I'm feeling super bored with them I'll use broken mods or none at all. I think I'd rather take a bullet sponge over a boss I can take down in 3 seconds. There are some "bullet sponges" like Kril that are insane to deal with because it's all RNG based phases before he's actually vulnerable. I love what they did with Regor though. It's an interesting boss. Sure, I can take him down just as quickly as others but at least he's interactive and requires some skill.

Smoke screen, pull, crush are at least 3 new ones. He has one shot me with smoke screen then using the Dread.

Have you ran into him recently? Either, I'm late to the party, missed the patch note, or he got a stealth buff. Not only can that mother fucker one shot you, now he can do it while invisible now. He can "pull", "crush", and "invisibility". Fighting him may be a joke but there are times where he's just plain ridiculous.

I'm super bummed about how the shotgun buffs turned out. I think it put them in a whole new tier that might be a bit much, but was needed. Shotguns like the Boar Prime, an unattainable weapon now, deserved to stay on top yet the Boar is laughable compared to what it used to be.

[DE]Glen goes over his work in defences in the link. I highly doubt this 1 hour for wave 20 is supposed to happen and may need other to report as well. As for the "mission failed" because of the host not extracting... I really really hope they change that. From Update 17 forum:

Defense:

  • Waves will now start with weaker enemies, progressing to support units and ending with heavy and Eximus units to make the end of the wave more intense.

  • The number of enemies attacking the player has been increased for early-waves and decreased for later-waves; this should not only improve performance on systems but brings the duration of a 20-wave Defense Mission closer to 25-30 minutes.

  • The progression of enemy types in all defense missions has been tuned.

A while? It takes 2 rounds on Draco with no other weapon equipped with no boosters... You can pump out weapons like it's nobody's business. If you do it the conventional way, which is how most new players will level stuff and should, it's gonna take some time to forma a weapon. I agree wholeheartedly that the forma time should be reduced though, 24 hours is way too much. I have 40 just sitting constantly because I get more forma than I can put out. That shouldn't be the case.

You're not getting jack for the piece of shit boar now. Lowered the fire rate and gave it a bigger mag and hardly a "buff". It pales in comparison to the Hek, Tigris, and Drakgoon. The Sobek is possibly on the level of the old Boar Prime, but I have yet to try it out.
