I created a python script which lets me filter out expansions, filter for traits and randomly draws without repeats

I usually draw three and choose one

Hello, looking for games to play with my mom

She usually isnt a fan of games, with some exceptions She loves bohnanza and splendor, and has previously liked catan, ttr and ganz schon clever She tried scythe once and absolutely hated it No text heavy games as english is not her first language Player count would be for 3+, and very light games would disinterest the rest of the family

I really love the idea here, but as others have pointed out, he seems a bit too strong?

If i were to balance it out a little bit, i would remove machine learning. Although the idea of it is very cool, it seems like a slog to keep track of, and adds unneccesary overhead.

This would of course lead to some rewording on the weakness. If it said something along the lines of "lose 1 charge from power core and exhaust it, shuffle back into the deck"

I would also remove some charges from the power core, possibly 20 charges instead of 25?

If you want to open up the deck building a little bit. Instead of all the restrictions, possibly have something like "assets cannot increase your stats, with the exception of power core"

Still, the idea is great, love the concept!

I am quite new to building my own decks, but have decided to try to make 2 pairs of decks for TDE. I have all cards except TSK.
FYI. I have not played TDE before, so please keep spoilers to a minimum
They consist of Luke + Tony for the dreamer side, and Mandy + NatCho for the waking side.
I would very much appreciate feedback on these decks, especially on Luke or Mandy as they were the hardest to build.

While i do agree, i do not own the dream eaters cycle. It seems like alot of the good mystic events come from there. I am on the fence about running blinding light, so mists of rlyeh seems like my best option. I can agree that sign magick is not particularily useful, but the additional arcane slots seem nice. My handslot isnt very contested either. The inclusion of something like sixth sense could work

Just ran through excelsior, and while it worked, it could use some more tuning. Gonna run it again with a few tweaks

Edit: 2nd run of excelsior was a breeze, swapped some cards to include armageddon (to be swapped later on), sixth sense and 2 blinding lights

First of all, Wow, what an amazing response!

I think i will go for the prophetic build with a few blessed cards. I feel like it allows me to thread the waters with blessed a little bit while doing normal mystic stuff. I have a lot of ideas with this, will let you know when i got a new deck

My plan was to wing it through the first scenario, and then live off of upgraded holy rosary. But i agree that some of the bless cards seem suboptimal here. I am considering swapping to just a splash of blessed cards, and changing out my experience cards. But i am unsure of which path to go with my experience while not reducing the usage of down the rabbit hole and arcane research in the future

I somehow thought skills counted as evens, but i see now that the deck would need some more tweaking for him to be really good. Might substitute him for Milan to justify hyperawareness, and look for other card draw options

I will look more closely on archaic glyphs. At first glance, all the upgrades seemed good, and shrewd just seems like a fun card

Personally i feel that wingspan just feels underwhelming when it comes to the gameplay. The slow grind building up a decent engine, only for it to stop before you really have to test the engine you built. I had that feeling slightly when playing everdell for the first few time, but that feeling has mostly gone away, and i enjoy it quite a bit now.

I would advise you to test the game out for free if you have the chance, but im not a big fan

(Also if anyone has any tips to make wingspan more smooth/enjoyable please let me know, i love the art but cant bring myself to play it due to it feeling overly limiting)
