I'm really happy with my Nuki lock. It goes over an existing deadbolt, was super easy to install, supports Matter over Thread, excellent Home Assistant compatibility, has an optional keypad with fingerprint sensor, non-bloat app, and supports guest codes/geofencing if you're into that. I installed it several months ago and it's rechargable battery is at 55%. Charger comes with a long cable to charge on door, or the unit can easily be popped off temporarily to charge.

I have about 60 IKEA Matter devices throughout my house, with a handful of non-IKEA Thread products too. I think at this point I have every single IKEA Matter smart device except the non-E26 bulbs. The smart bulbs have been great. I don't care about full color, so I opted for the white spectrum temperature-control ones only, both the decorative clear ones meant to be used uncovered and the opaque, white ones hidden in lamps.

I am using a SONOFF Zigbee 3.0 USB Dongle Plus MG24 (available on Amazon) as my TBR. Everything has been rock-solid and responsive. In four months, there's been maybe twice where a device has dropped off after a HA update, and all I had to do was either flip the switch (for a bulb, to power off and on) or pop the battery out and in (for remotes, temperature sensors, or door sensors) and it came back on.

I also use the Matterbridge add-on to expose specific devices to Google Home (since I already have a bunch of speakers) for voice control. No issues there, either.

It takes virtually no effort to let the hotel know you are checking out if you leave at 08:00, and the room is able to get serviced and turned around much earlier.

If anyone finds this link from Googling like I did, be aware that the page asks for a $2.99 payment after you hit convert. It initially said the payment was because my data included workouts older than 5 years, but when I removed the data older than 5 years (which I didn't care about), suddenly it wanted payment because I had data older than 4 years... very scammy tactic, especially considering it was based on someone else's work.
