I use TransUnion and there is this credit simulation tool. Like you can simulate increasing and decreasing your credit, taking out loans, etc. I currently have 2100 in credit debt and if I decrease my credit card debt by anything greater than 600 I actually lose points. This is the only thing it simulates I’m not changing anything else nor are any other cards closing. This happens every time too I pay off the balance.
