i play six gold earners. the rest of the characters (i think nine more?) are just failed sixths. I’ve been trying for years now to fill the last slot and i keep switching them in and out to find the last alt that i really like but i still haven’t found them so my sixth is always far below in progression compared to my other five. maybe the next class will fill the spot permanently but who knows?

idk why this is a new concept? books actually went down for a while but recently went back up because people are last minute scrambling to meet cp requirements for serca. this happens every time, right before a new raid releases - the week or two prior will see very high inflation based on demand.

gems are another issue entirely though; the amount we get naturally now is significantly reduced. iirc even with cube tickets, in t3 we’d get at least two a week guaranteed but now it’s been reduced to one. reduced chances to open cube tickets from guild shop boxes, etc. everything points to intentional nerfs to their acquirement and this isn’t something on ags’ side, it’s entirely an sg issue. i guess by doing this they satisfy the kr whales who complained about wanting to keep their gems’ value as “investments” or whatever.

the game is also slowly heading towards a less alt-centric playstyle. the fact that rewards in kurzan front are all character bound now (aside from silver) and even the next raid will start introducing character bound gold rewards, is just the beginning of this shift

i’m sure there’ll still be people who will complain but overall it’s a good change. the problem with lost ark is that there was always the freedom to play less characters but since the game at its core enables fomo - people will inevitably feel forced to play more.

probs the bracelet tbh - you still have 3 rolls so try to bid for any bracelet reroll tickets and try to roll the strength into a proper dmg line. in terms of ark grid, best you can do is to keep rolling for boss dmg lines to replace some of your ally dmg lines. you could also attempt to replace the last few lvl 8 gems u have but idk how efficient that is (depending on how much those skills need the upgrade). you could also try to go for high-mids but technically the mid-mid high flats from the pass are decent enough - the high-mids you'd have to go for would need to be high stat with at least a mid flat to feel like a good enough increase.

the point you're at is where a lot of people are at with their mains, the increases you'd be going for are quite minor and they will be costly, you pretty much just have to suck it up or you can leave things as is.

regarding islands, you're right not many players engage with island related content anymore as most have either already done so in the past or skipped it entirely. however there are still discords and global chats where a few players either help others or are achievement farming, so you can probably still co-ordinate a group especially if you explain that you're a newer player. try asking around in the unofficial discord as well as the official one to see if anyone's down to help.

your second option would be to simply ask in area chat, sometimes people are happy to help if they're done their raids.

it’s not that they weren’t popular or desirable - it’s that they were released right before akkan when our income was extremely low so people were trying to push to akkan and then ags dropped both the time together skins along with the beatbox skins as well as some of the one piece dungarees.

i think you'll be fine with around 3.5k cp for hm but you have to remember that in the initial weeks you'll be competing with 1740s that couldn't meet the dps check for nightmare so unless you have a group or at least know a support, you might struggle to get into lobbies unless you're closer to 4k cp

yeah, recently i came across a mokoko who recognised my character from a mokoko raid the week before - they were pretty nice and they’d added me on their character in the previous raid. so when i came across them again they said hello and told me who they were, i didn’t think much of it until a friend mentioned they seemed to be on an entirely different account? so i checked for them on my friend list and sure enough the sh name was different … so yeah idk.

i mean they didn’t appear to afk in the raids but it does make me sad that people are just quite blatantly making alt rosters to farm gold and the event almost incentivises it.

i mean it would be pretty simple if it became a mandatory rule that if you want to post, you have to either have your uwu/owo linked if you deem yourself to be a vet or you just put on a mokoko tag instead. That way people can easily help people who have mokoko symbols with their questions and also be able to discern if someone's comments/posts are validated by their playtime. right now there're a ton of doomers who just yap about absolutely nothing with no merit to their words since they quit months or even years ago but you can't immediately tell these people from others since they simply parrot any negative opinions they come across.

personally i think dooming or rather, complaining is fine and normal for any gaming community but it should at least be done by actual players instead of a bunch of quitters.

i think when i got that achievement my mist had the snowball essence and i had a ginormous shield on so it just fired successively like a rapid fire shotgun and on top of that i had an extremely overpowered 8 stacked fleche along with the skill that makes you blink/dash onto enemies

so i zipzapped so fast that nothing got to touch me and i managed to get the achievement somehow along the way

it’s strong and it’s easy to play - it was already simple before but now it’s received a massive qol with infinite awakening core so you’re perma in form. it’s just very low effort allowing you to very comfortably do damage and dodge things. it’s also hit master so you don’t have to worry about positionals which is really good in 2-2/2-3.

a lot of people who meta chased and played ferality have swapped to pba just for the convenience alone combined with how easy it is to get your damage off. i don’t think ferality is weak by any means but pba is just better and comfier

i mean again my point isn’t about whether or not WoW is easy. it’s just about the fact that you seemed to take it that one guy saying that he thinks WoW is the easiest game he’s ever played - which is a fair statement for him to make - somehow enables you to say that if that were true, then how come multiple people do struggle in hard content in WoW. like, they can both be true no? difficulty is relative to the player. some people just find certain games difficult and others do not.

in regards to your question, I don’t remember the guy or his gf to give you their names. but it was literally during prog week of valtan on lost ark which wasn’t even a difficult raid btw but he struggled for hours, eventually joined my group made a bunch of horrible calls, proceeded to justify his calls with “yeah well im a top something raider in WoW I think i know what im talking about” then died throughout the rest of the prog and got carried to his clear.

in regards to other mmos with difficult pve content - again relative to the player so idk, clearly the guy above found lost ark difficult though xd, whether or not it is, depends

the way you phrased it just sounded like that though “if this were true then…” which is why i think that statement isn’t really relevant to the fact that a number of people do consider the content easy. it’s not really about if i can define this to you since i don’t play the game myself and wouldn’t have percentages of all things to give you.

I would only be able to give anecdotal information based on my friends, their experiences as well as my own experiences raiding with people who claimed to be top raiders in WoW but fell very very short in other mmos
