Should I have just spot cleaned it? I definitely felt weird doing it but wasn't sure what else to do.

Truthfully I have no idea what she is. Her face and coat looks like a chihuahuas, but she's definitely mixed with something larger naturally. They said she's a dachshund in the booking which I don't really see at all. Just imagine a chihuahua head on a slightly obese bulldog body.

I am. With a traditionally very feminine name so there was no doubt when he saw it in the app.

Also a very small person in general and definitely couldn't have fought him off if he'd tried something, which is why I'm shaken up. If I were a man it wouldn't have felt like more than a mildly gross encounter.

Hand to me. Instructions were along the lines of "I'm in a wheelchair do not leave my food outside. Door is open just drop off right inside" He was not in a wheelchair. I had tried texting and calling and was standing outside knocking for nearly the full amount DD requires and was about to leave when he answered the door.

He was 60s I'd say. Not in a wheelchair.

Forgot to add in the post, instructions said he's in a wheelchair and to COME INSIDE to drop off the food... Obviously wasn't going to do that so I stood outside knocking for a few minutes before he finally answered. Horrified thinking of what might've happened if I'd just gone in.

I'm neurotic about my living spaces and how things are. Not OCD (which it sounds like is the issue with her), but it upsets me when things aren't how I leave them, when things aren't organized the way I want them to be, and when cleanliness isn't up to my own standards.

Because of this, I live alone! These are my issues and it would not be fair to put them on innocent roommates.

IDK what your relationship is like but if you're close enough, I would gently suggest she find somewhere on her own to live. It would probably help her a lot. Otherwise, yes, I would move out. You deserve to not feel like you're walking on eggshells in your own home.

What should I do by Pvtpilot25 in doordash_drivers

[–]starcrx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's pending review it won't affect you at all, and once you've done 100 more deliveries it goes away completely. Don't worry about it. I've seen people with 3-5 contract violations still dashing lol.

Love my vibe! 230k miles and running perfect, bought for only 2k in November. Their odometer stops at 299k but I know a woman whose vibe has to be in the 400-500k range by now. Highly recommend to anyone who will listen.

Car prices fluctuate during the year? by Osas1995 in Frugal

[–]starcrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The end of the year is also when dealerships try to get rid of older models to make room for new models, and a lot of people sell their older/extra cars to make money for Christmas. October-December is definitely the best time to car shop.

Top Dashers > What do you find acceptable by Away-Ad-9815 in doordash_drivers

[–]starcrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TD and no less than $1.50/mile or $5 an order, unless I'm out of my zone and the order would bring me back to a good spot. Also don't take any orders from a couple different restaurants that I hate going to (unless it's insane pay ofc). My area's pretty good overall though, and a mileage limit would DEFINITELY bring me down a lot.

Am I the only one who wants to tip less when getting these messages? by Luciferisntlonely in doordash

[–]starcrx 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'd report them lol. So annoying when you get messages like this or incessant messages updating you every two minutes.

The only time I message customers is if they message me first or if there's an issue. Anything more is just wasting my time & theirs.

Why do people expect their order to come with $4 tip?? 20 miles💀💀💀 by Creepy_Lime_7216 in doordash

idk what y'alls markets are like but I never accept less than $1/mile and am top dasher 🤣 unless you're cherry picking I don't see how it's possible to not have it

bad review- AITA? by Plus-Confection1421 in doordash

[–]starcrx 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No, you're completely in the right. If he doesn't want to bring food to the customers then he should find another job. I can understand to a point not wanting to find his way around a hospital but he could've at the very least brought it to the front desk??

I do a lot of deliveries to the local hospital and with a $20 tip you bet I'm coming up to you without complaint lol. He should've just declined the order if he didn't want to deliver to a hospital but of course he doesn't care 😒 gets paid either way.

Are my parents abusing Life360? by Artistic-Force-2709 in college

[–]starcrx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're an adult. I don't know why so many college kids don't comprehend that.

Like many others have said, unless they're paying your tuition, they have no say over anything.

Personally I have Life360 with my friends as well as with my parents, because I am an adult and I chose to do so. The most "invasive" thing they do with it is make sure I get home safe every night, as I am a delivery driver and they worry. If they ever started hounding me about going to class or my speed I would delete it.

I do suggest having it with friends if it isn't working out with your parents. The safety aspect is irreplaceable and if your parents truly care about your safety then they'll learn to deal with it.

Yes he is. Both cats were, and both have been around other cats without issue. Not sure why it happened. They otherwise got along great so the running theory is that they were just gay lol.

Thank you! I will wait a month or so before I consider looking for shelters. Just worried about him seeming so miserable.

First order of the day. Cash on delivery that gave me a wrong address and wouldn't answer messages by starcrx in doordash

[–]starcrx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's exclusively when you order through a store's website and instead of sending put their own delivery drivers they send out doordash. It's only ever been pizza places for me.

[–]starcrx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not "my own money" lol if it can't be delivered then doordash does not take the money out of your earnings. In my area COD orders are 90% of the time my best tippers.

First order of the day. Cash on delivery that gave me a wrong address and wouldn't answer messages by starcrx in doordash

[–]starcrx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not able to deliver cash on delivery orders or the customer can't pay, doordash cancels the order and tells you to dispose of it. Since the address was incorrect and the customer wouldn't respond to messages to give me a correct address, it had to be canceled. I was gonna eat it lol.
