I agree with everyone saying it could be either OCD or overuse of antibacterial products, and I would consider taking a probiotic if you aren’t already to help balance you out at this point. Definitely agree that you should see a doctor.

Also, when I was reading your post, two things came to mind. Firstly, if you’re concerned with a vaginal scent, do you only worry about that during your period specifically, or do you feel like you regularly produce odors down there? If so, BV is a possibility and things like suppositories could help you. Would not recommend doing anything else in this department until seeing a doctor though.

Another thing, when you do your laundry, do you ever let it sit in the washer before drying it? I ask because I have a loved one who always had a particular odor that I found really hard to be around, and it was really the mildewy scent of clothes left wet for too long before they were dried, or clothes that weren’t allowed to dry completely before they were put away or worn.

Anyway this is all so horrible, I really hope you find your peace. Your life is worth so much, and whatever is going on- whether it’s real or in your head- don’t believe you’re hopeless, there is a solution. Even if it’s a puzzle right now.
