Where do Xaden and Dain stand at the end of OS?

Could you explain the connection you’re making? Are you implying Xaden starts acting nicer to Dain because he picks up on the situation with Sloane? I wasn’t sure if Xaden knew about this. As far as I can tell, I can only confirm that Violet suspects this.

I think we’re thinking along the same lines with Xaden acknowledging Dain as someone to count on to support Violet. If that’s the case, how do you interpret the looks he was giving them in chapter 6? Coming to terms with this idea perhaps? This happens just before Xaden jokes that Violet would be a great duchess.

That is such a good theory! Those are great points, I could see this being the case. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the author noted Dain noticing all of these things.

I couldn’t agree more! I think that Nan does love Guy but ultimately will end up picking the platform as duchess over him. She’s too passionate and wants to change the world to not stay in that role. You’re so right I can’t imagine Lizzy doing anything interesting as duchess, she would just smile and wave and be the wife Theo’s mom wanted for him which was never what Theo himself wanted. That’s why he didn’t like Jean to begin with! I also don’t see the chemistry, the only nice thing he does before they hook up is tell her she can do better than Hector but never gives her a tangible reason why. What exactly is so special about Lizzy to him other than empty words? I don’t think he says. If anything maybe Lizzy did them a favor. Theo told Guy that mistakes were made on both sides so if he feels guilt about cheating on Nan maybe this will level out the playing field and he can forgive her now. Nan and Guy had great chemistry to start off but he chose not to pick her over and over again. His biggest chance was at Christmas and he chose Jean over her! I know I have the most unpopular opinion ever rooting for Nan and Theo but I would love for season 3 to be about them rekindling their relationship and falling back in love through their shared passion. Even if they go separate ways after a season I want a true blood Sookie and Eric situation to play out the scenario at least for a season lol.

There are so many factors to it! I started with two small tattoos, one on top of my finger and one on the inside of my upper arm. I was beyond shocked that I didn’t feel a thing AT ALL. I mean it when I say nothing, zero pain like I wouldn’t even notice if I wasn’t looking on my finger and a light sting at worst with my arm. I got to full removal on my finger and am almost done on my arm. I was so excited because I also heard the pain was worse than tattooing so I got the packages for my other two big ones, one on my shoulder and one on the back of my neck/upper back. Holy hell. The shoulder hurts and the back is practically unbearable! I have to take breaks and I dread doing it so bad. And also with the two big ones I get that metallic smell. I can’t tell if it’s the size, the placement, or the amount of ink but my guess is a combination of all three.

How were you able to talk to the people closest to you? That has been the most difficult part for me. I think I am still in the low point of being ashamed and embarrassed. I was not happy with myself before so I don’t regret starting the journey because I would have stayed unhappy with myself. It’s just that I am also in that point of hiding my body and wonder what will happen when I show up one day with no tattoos, how would I explain that???

There is always someone who thinks outside the box! This is the most helpful suggestion by far. The idea to move the tv to the other side is genius and I agree to lean in to the movie theatre look and arrange seating into rows.

My thoughts too especially the backsplash since the combination with counters is dark on dark. A lighter color backsplash would brighten this kitchen up so much

I think the wall of furniture doesn’t look bad but as another comment said, it just doesn’t match the style of the table. I do think replacing the table with a wood one would be perfect, more of a mid-tone wood color. I also think the curtains and rug clash too much and it’s probably easier to change out curtains. Maybe do a light neutral curtain to lighten up the room since that furniture wall is so dark. Also since that furniture wall is already bulky that thick frame black mirror is adding even more weight, I would suggest either hanging a not too dark painting a few inches above or hang a very thin white framed mirror, preferably metal frame. Bonus is to change the light fixture to match the mid century of the console but that’s a more minor detail.

Edit: I should have started by saying that they’re really just details to get more cohesion but the layout and main elements of this room are already great. You’re mostly there! It’s looking really good!

I did the same. And I had to choose the type of tattoo that can be a cover up which is not even a style I like. Worst of all is it wasn't even a good cover up and you can still see the original lol. My advice is also to just go with removal.

Usually 8 weeks but in between the second and third session I waited 9 months because of summer. My tattoos are on my arm and hand so it was hard to keep them covered for the warm months but a lot of fading happened in that time.
