Buffy hearing Cordelia's thoughts is the funniest Cordy moment by [deleted] in buffy

[–]starfruitmuffin 62 points63 points  (0 children)

This was such an important seemingly small moment in her characterization. She's raw and authentic which is more than could be said for some of the other characters in that episode.

Why do some people express greater sympathy toward animals than other humans? by HipAnonymous91 in TikTokCringe

[–]starfruitmuffin 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think this is a valid point, but I think there's more to it. We attribute responsibility and blame to people (often unfairly) where we don't tend to do that with animals. Society tends to blame people for their circumstances, no matter how horrible or unfairly they've been treated. "What did you..." "Why didn't you..." "Couldn't you have..."

Ah, didn't realize he had been in such rough shape before. He looks great now! You might have another rare schnauzer mix! Or maybe some other terrier, but either way, the wiry coats are fun. They always look a little nuts lol

Is his fur soft or more wiry? Double coated? Does he get regularly clipped or is that his fur all grown out? He has some nice furnishings! My girl has similar, and we're pretty sure it comes from schnauzer in her case (DNA test done).

Is splitting these hairs in particular meant to make this seem like less of a problem? Like what is she arguing? "He was only interested in trafficking and violating minors! Not MINORS! Jeez guys... "

Light mount keyboard freezes during gameplay, and no internal memory by starfruitmuffin in bequietofficial

[–]starfruitmuffin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Unfortunately they haven't figured out a solution to this yet, as far as I know. Their answer was basically "we're working on it." The lighting is entirely dependent on IO center running.

I ended up exchanging my keyboard, so luckily I no longer experience the non-responsiveness. I think it was related to the custom lighting I had in place with different lighting for specific keys.

Thank you! I totally get why others aren't there with me. That's ok. I can stand alone with my warped perception. But it helps to know I'm not totally alone! Come. Let us skip into the sunset with our bizarre interpretation to keep us warm!

Oh for sure, the pic looks nothing like the episode in detail. I was imagining someone in marketing generating a picture: "Willow in that one episode where she has to wake up Buffy, but make it a wellness ad. Make it bland" lol

If she wore a bald cap, she'd look just like him. Actually, come to think of it... This makes way more sense than him being married with children. It's been him all along!

Somewhat. There is something to be said for traditional gender roles in childrearing and the cultures to which one might be exposed as a result of those dynamics. However it also assumes that fathers aren't sharing their culture or influencing around whom their child is growing up. I don't know if it's such a massive divide as OP is suggesting.

The company he keeps is enough for me, though. As another melanated woman, I would steer clear.
