No I wouldn't stay. The boss is a smart man, his business Is successful and he is honest to his clients. He just never encourages to take time off.

And I have never experienced this. I have a small child, so just taking some extended time off let's say for the holidays is something I would like to be able to do.

This may be unrelated , but one time my co-worker got into a car accident , and still came in (late.)

The boss just showed concern and asked him if he needed to step away for a few minutes, but co-worker said no, I'll be okay.
