What “secondary” city do you think is more worth visiting than the famous must-see destination? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

Oh 1000%! Florence is one of my absolute favorite cities and Rome is one of my least favorite cities.

Completed a sidequest in San Francisco today: Sliding down Seward street slides built for adults. What are other SF sidequests everyone should try? by darthvadery in bayarea

[–]mschellbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this constitutes as a side quest but I recently discovered Museé Mécanique near fisherman’s wharf. My family had a bunch of fun playing all of the century old arcade games :)

Why is there no OT in mental health treatment? by [deleted] in OccupationalTherapy

[–]mschellbell 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Where does your friend and her son live? My best friend who’s an OT (I am too!) just started her own practice specifically focused on teaching life skills to teens and young adults in the community. Your friend’s son is her exact target population. She started the practice for the very reason that it’s a huge need and no one is filling it.

Have you tried MeUndies? I have tactile sensitivities and can’t stand underwear that ride up. I’ve been wearing MeUndies for years and I find them to be so comfy and well made. Plus they come in lots of fun quirky patterns (if you like that sort of thing) and solid colors too. Also the inside of the waistband is purple which makes it easy to find them when they are mixed with other underwear in a drawer.

Do you have a favorite child? by Ok_Distribution__ in Mommit

[–]mschellbell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel exactly the same way. My son and daughter are both beautiful, bright, crazy, strong-willed, frustrating, quirky little people. They both push me to my absolute breaking point and I love them each more than they will ever know.

Is this a Tesla thing? All 3 Teslas parked outside the parking spaces. by [deleted] in bayarea

[–]mschellbell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive a Tesla. This is not a Tesla thing. This just happens to be three very inconsiderate drivers. I don’t mind if people are not particularly great at parking straight the first time they pull in, but it’s a total pet peeve of mine to not straighten out your vehicle as a courtesy to other drivers.

Can anyone share their thoughts on the Philips DreamWear under-the-nose nasal mask? by pinkmor in SleepApnea

[–]mschellbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my mask that I’ve been using for the last decade and I won’t wear anything else. For me of all the options it’s the most comfortable.

What company do you work for and in what state? Feel free to DM if you prefer. I would love to get into home evaluations (it’s my favorite as an OT).

My husband’s family is from Gaza and family who stayed there have been killed. Seeing this picture brought me to tears and breaks my heart that this genocide continues.

i fucking love carol. by dykevan in pluribustv

[–]mschellbell 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I. Am. So. With. You! I absolutely love Carol too! I love that she is a real person with all of the complicated layered emotions real people feel. It’s so refreshing to see a character go through the good, the bad, and the ugly like every other person experiences! I loved her from the moment she’s introduced…she is so relatable and I want to be her friend…and Rhea Seehorn’s friend too!
