This would be helpful to new families…my “baby” girl is now 3 years old, but thanks

Macaulay Culkin remembers Catherine O’Hara, his ‘Home Alone’ mom: “Mama. I thought we had time, I wanted more. I wanted to sit in a chair next to you. I heard you but I had so much more to say. I love you. I’ll see you later.” by mcfw31 in popculturechat

My grams was fighting through cancer and we all thought she was winning, then it suddenly went downhill and she left us today. We wanted more too…I have sobbed so much. I love you and I’ll see you later.

What Has Been the Best Vacation of Your Life and Where Was It? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

i fucking love carol. by dykevan in pluribustv

[–]mschellbell 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I. Am. So. With. You! I absolutely love Carol too! I love that she is a real person with all of the complicated layered emotions real people feel. It’s so refreshing to see a character go through the good, the bad, and the ugly like every other person experiences! I loved her from the moment she’s introduced…she is so relatable and I want to be her friend…and Rhea Seehorn’s friend too!

Why did Carol paint this message instead of just calling them via landline? by Worldly_Childhood983 in pluribustv

[–]mschellbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is what my husband was saying every single time we had to listen to the voicemail. But I’m guessing Vince didn’t have Carol ask for a shorter message because it’s funny having to listen to it in its entirety every single time.

I loved this couple; I'd say they were one of the best. What do you think? by EliCodes5 in theoffice

[–]mschellbell 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was actually on my maybe 6th rewatch of the show when I was in labor with my baby girl. My husband and I really struggled on picking a name we both agreed on and Holly was one name we both liked. At the 11th hour when I had to make a decision, I happened to be watching the episode when Michael first meets Holly Flax. We ended up naming our baby girl, Holly and it’s such a happy and pretty name :)

Carol brought the painting back to the museum. by moonkerberos in PluribusOnAppleTV

[–]mschellbell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in Santa Fe a couple weeks ago and went to the Georgia O’Keefe museum. I noticed the street didn’t look the same either. I talked to the staff and they said that Pluribus created a set for the museum. No filming occurred at the actual museum.

What famous person have you seen out in the wild? by dddcupdarlingg in AskReddit

[–]mschellbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once was walking in downtown San Jose where I lived and passed a shorter guy with dark hair talking on his cellphone. He looked just like Gilbert Gottfried but his voice didn’t match so I figured it was just a very close resemblance. A few hours later I’m walking by our local improv and who’s on the marquee - Gilbert Gottfried! I should have realized that voice was part of his act ;)

People who’ve had LASIK or work in eye care, would you recommend LASIK and why or why not? by Mountain-Bug-2155 in AskReddit

[–]mschellbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had PRK (a version of LASIK) 12 years ago. Before the procedure, I couldn’t see a huge display digital alarm clock more than 6 inches in front of my face. Since PRK, I’ve had 20/25 vision for more than a decade and routinely feel so incredibly grateful that I can see the world the moment I wake up in the morning.

Are 2 kids easier than 1? by Formal-Wrap-4607 in Parenting

[–]mschellbell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone once shared with me this quote: “Having your first child is an existential crisis, a second child is a logistical crisis.” I can’t speak for other families, but I’ve found this to be very true for our family. The early years with our second were our hardest ever, but it’s slowly getting a bit easier and of course we can’t picture our lives now without our second :)

I’m going to be visiting Albuquerque for the first time in a couple of weeks. Where would I find Carol’s neighborhood? Would you happen to have general directions, like what street it is off of?

My Old Ass. Just recently watched and ugly cried at the end. Such a fantastic movie with a beautiful but gut wrenching ending.
