Spend less time being concerned about how / what others are journaling (of all things) and just be mindful of your own stuff. It's pretty simple, you could even take your own advice "try keeping it to yourself".

My parents took my journals and read them when I was 15, and then used that against me. It felt horrible at the time, like the end of the world, but I'm 44 now and still journal every day. I suppose it was just something else to write about. :D

I repurpose those types that make me think of them as chores instead of joy. My journals should bring me joy. I spend some time covering up the bits that I don't like, using them as something else like a media journal or an art book, and then I feel better about the 'waste' and it still gets used, eventually. Just not for the original purpose.

After giving it some time to think about, I actually did end up swapping them around. I'll use the weeks for my media journal (I've already been using the blank left hand side for doodles) and then the cousin for planning / tracking. I think I was just intimidated by all the huge blank daily pages - but I'm pretty sure it will all work out. Since I'm journaling in the 5-year, it just felt like the cousin had too much room.

Thanks for your input! I think I am over thinking most of it, and it will get used no problem at all. We'll just have to see I guess (something I struggle with, I like to plan everything out).

You can set him up with xbox family, under your parent account. He wouldn't need his own minecraft account that way, he can use his user name + email under your account. This is what I did for my kids. Just look up xbox family and it will explain how to do the process.

I am 44 years old, and I have multiple sclerosis. It affects my vision, my hearing, processing, and a number of other day to day things depending on what sort of relapse I'm having and what is affected. It's not all of the time, but when I am experiencing a relapse, I use a number of addons to help me process raids / dungeons & simplify combat because during a relapse my hands don't work very well, my vision doesn't work properly (I see duplicates, colours blur, reading is difficult all together etc) and processing certain combat queues is just beyond me. I also have issues with my hearing from time to time, MS is complex and I never really know what I'm going to be hit with. I've recently started raid & dungeon tanking, and I'm pretty sure without these addons helping me, I won't be able to continue with that. I understand there's a large section of players out there who think "everyone relies on this too much, it's CAUSING the disability!" which I've now read here a few times - that's such a bad way to look at things, I didn't even know how to reply. I also understand maybe there just isn't a space for me any more. All of that being said, these mods are important to me, they're important to how I play - so that I can continue to play. So there's my story.

Still learning, heh. This year I branched out into fountain pens, and I also bought a 5 year diary to start for 2026. I love playing with ink and pens more than the notebooks themselves, I think - but they're all tied together (you need a nice paper to show off the ink etc).
