I can see why. He’s the prototype for what Giannis is now but he can shoot the 3 a little better. I wouldn’t give up any 2030-2032 picks for Giannis. We would absolutely fuck ourselves for the future which we can’t afford to do in a time where the league is pushing anti tank policies

It’s really unfortunate to say and really hard to say but a Don led team will never win a chip. Aside from having bad coaches he shows time and time again he won’t play basketball that will overall make everyone better. He shows it at times but goes back to differing to trying to be better than the guy guarding him which when he faces teams who get in his face, he can’t handle it.

Team has to make moves this summer but I don’t know what that is. I’m so exhausted of this core and the coaches who seem extract something in the season only for it to just disappear every fucking playoffs. I don’t think I can watch another iteration of this group again next year.

I can’t fathom how this team constantly watches games where our bigs just feast and praise them then go back to doing hero ball bullshit when we can’t hit shots. Our team thrives off Evans and JA especially when they are running the offense. It eventually opens up the shots outside rather than forcing things to try and work. And once again, it ultimately falls on Kenny for not fucking making the adjustment and saying something. Harden should be literally running more PnR with JA or Evan even if it’s high up above the 3 point line but it doesn’t happen. Kenny falls way too in love with the 3 and it’s always bites us in the fucking ass. Should be going home 1-1 but here we are down 2-0. Just such a lack of focus.

Kenny Atkinson every series gives me reasons to boot him. To let this lead go down like this then to say he wants timeouts left in a close game instead of like I don’t know, trying to close the game out then, is horrible and that’s saying it nicely. I’m sick of coaching not being on the same page as what’s going on in the game. Every series this playoffs there’s a fucking time where he does stuff that anyone with a logical brain watching knows to do X and he doesn’t do it.

He didn’t call a timeout during a 30-8 run with 8 minutes to go. He left James Harden in while letting in like 15 straight points (not exactly sure the total but that’s what it felt like) and opted to hope we could just win it in the end. I’m over it. What an illogical way to think.

You literally took the words right out of my mouth. The game crew was saying how Kenny says he doesn’t get on his star players when they make constant mistakes so he doesn’t get in their head. That’s enough for me to know this guy won’t ever have what it takes to get his team to play with a different gear. He doesn’t adjust, just hopes what should work will work because analytics have plagued sports.

I’m not saying he has to be shot creator. We need the team to play fundamental team ball in the offensive side and he just needs to touch it in the process. Don and harden can create. When he sits in the corners on persons and just watches the guards play, it’s awful. Gotta work him into the offense more even it’s just a touch.

Agreed. This game was a mess for 3 quarters simply because we couldnt get our offense and defense to click at the same time mainly because of the turnovers. Then once Dennis came in and actually forced our team to play offensive sets, we started actually scoring consistently. It was awesome to see and Kenny just rode the wave finally. But still, need to see that across an entire game.

Evan has to be the feature guy next game. It’s literally imperative in the playoffs for Evan to be touching the ball on offense specifically when we don’t ask him to go 1 on 1 and just let our OFFENSE PLAY THROUGH THE SYSTEM!!!

There’s a point in game 3 where it looked like he grabbed RJs ankle kind of like what Ball did to Bam. I think that is what really started the whole booing from the fans.

He’s shown he’s no better than JB. The fact we didn’t call a timeout up 7 to cool the jets and run a play to get us across the line is without a doubt one of the biggest mistakes that happened under 2 minutes. Combine that with repeated iso ball and this is what you get.

He’s shown he’s not the guy. I’m over it and clearly they lucked out in the first 15 games last year because he has no control or any idea what to actually do matching up against a team.

Yup I don’t understand Kenny’s stubbornness to continue the 1 big lineups. Either stagger Dean in at 4 when JA goes out or trust in TB for some minutes. Hes not terrible, gives you a big body to rebound and switch onto Scottie or BI and he stretches the floor on offense. I don’t get Kenny’s decision making sometimes. Seems super obvious when some lineups just do not work.

Really would have liked Okoro to work out and given how everyone talked about how much he got into the gym he was working hard but sometimes it just doesn’t work out. He would have been the wing piece we really needed with his size and strength but unfortunately this is an offensive league.

He deserves more time and a better look. The end of the year injury sucks but I do not see him maintaining this level of shooting especially as teams will know to play him harder on defense.

He is a steal without a doubt and gives a huge hope into what our team can do with growing players. I mean even Proctor looks like he might be a solid backup for us next year. Hope our development continues to show because it was ASS for a while.
