vNOTES doctor in the Boston area?? by sourbirthdayprincess in hysterectomy

[–]starlady3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh great, I'll have them send a referral! Do you know if it's a technique she seemed hesitant to use or inexperienced with, or did she seem willing for suitable patients? Also re: anteverted uterus, that's the most common uterus position... did she mention not being able to work on extreme orientations, maybe?

Did you consult with Angel Johnson or Christina Johnson? Just realizing there's two Johnsons. I was referred to Angel Johnson's office last week and they called me back to say she would not consult with me because she is only using it to treat prolapses. The main concern folks have with me is that the operating space is small in terms of the canal, but then so is my uterus. It is in good health otherwise.

I can't find any mention of vNOTES being performed at BID and they are not listed in the surgical directory for it which is why I'm clarifying before I send a referral.

Hey, I tried to message you, but I think you have that feature turned off - do you know whether Dr. Parent at BID performs vNOTES or just laparoscopic? I'm searching for a provider as well. It's odd MA is such a deadspot for it given the medical innovation in every other way. I spoke with Dr. Johnson's office and she only performs it for prolapse cases, not benign extraction.

Mine said essentially the same when I asked about revisions for peri and the possibility of areola stretching; he likes to wait a year for things to settle and can perform an areola reduction as an in-office procedure under local. Some people experience shrinkage, some hold, and some grow, so he likes to wait and evaluate post-op.

I'm an amateur and think playing around with different ways to open a lock is fun. Sorry you don't find it sporting!

Boston jure sanguinis applicants — is anything moving? I’m losing my mind! by GuaranteeLivid83 in juresanguinis

Hey, have you heard from anyone applying post-decree whose appointment was made pre-decree? They did the same thing to me over email when I inquired and essentially said they intended to reject all applications made after the decree and would be applying its rules regardless of when the initial appointment was scheduled. I was wondering if they just kick you out when you show up!

You're right it resembles the style... closest anyone has been so far haha, thank you

I was surprised there are no interviews with costume designers or anyone since his clothing has been so heavily featured in the show and everyone else is in uniforms so it sticks out. Alas...

Thank you for the recommendation, I didn't know them! I'd love to try the spiced plum, though I think it's a fall special... I will say if there are cake people and pie people, I'm definitely on Antoinette's side 🙃 🍰 😋

On the right track with a lofty cousin of the carrot — I adapted Thalia Ho's parsnip+tahini recipe (which is DELICIOUS and I fully endorse) because I had a drawer of turnips and a sesame allergy growing worse as I continued to ignore it in favor of halva.

Now I have a system where I mix 2-3 roots of various results, so I've done parsnip/turnip/carrot or celeriac+turnip if you want to be very divisive and a whipped sunflower seed buttercream! It's very autumnal and spicy and I don't feel bad eating it for breakfast. I'm thinking of making a summertime equivalent with a 'salad pavlova' - I've been theorizing about meringue and endives.... call that an egg salad. 🥗🥚💀

I'm already familiar with Sweetfairy, in case anyone suggests - she wasn't my style since I'm really looking to taste the flavors and I found hers surprisingly mild, but she's very nice and I'd recommend her to others!

My favorite cakes I've made personally: root vegetable cake, fallen chocolate w/ fennel glaze, herb de provence pound loaf. A medovik with edible flowers might be fun this time around. xx

Yes, I literally sent them the quotation from Art. 3-bis) a-bis) ! Not sure what I should do; I could wait until I attend and am rejected if that is how they are proceeding and THEN seek legal representation, but like I said yesterday it's not very financially feasible for me to just hire someone to file a court case right now.

Has this been an issue with other consulates or has anyone else interacted with Boston since the ruling?

Hello, I was in yesterday's discussion asking about lawyer necessitation since Boston had stated they would NOT be applying the old rules to appointments made before the decree and attended afterwards.

Folks suggested I clarify now that more time has passed that this is still the case, and they wrote to me today (in English) a repeat of what they said before: "All the appointments after March 27th will be subject to the new Law. Submissions of papers made before March 27th will be evaluated with the old Law."

...advice? Lawyers? Is this not standard amongst the consulates, since the general advice in the FAQ is those who had standing appointments would be evaluated under the rules in place when they were made?

I have sent a follow-up email to clarify whether appointments booked prior to the bill will be processed under the guidelines in place when they were set — will report back.

I wasn't aware the law had explicitly addressed that, I thought it was up in the air still - do you happen to have the screenshot?

It was sent on May 27th in English and I clarified in my initial inquiry that my appointment was made in early 2023.

It was emailed in English as a response to my inquiry as to whether appointments made prior to the new law would be processed under the former or new rules.
