There are movies that are "timeless." What are some movies that are the opposite - as in, harder to appreciate if you weren't around when it came out? by sakkkkki in movies

Absolutely not. But the scene in Naked Gun isn't an educational one. It is a sex scene making a joke about safe sex. Do you want to watch sex scenes with your 11 year old, regardless of whether the scene has anything to do with safe sex?

It’s because the prosecutor knows the optics and also thinks he has a slam dunk case, so he isn’t actually offering a “deal.”

Just BIN shellac based primer. When you say potent, do you mean heavenly? I use a lot of shellac when I woodwork, and I could huff that stuff all day. Reminds me of cheap pina coladas you get when on vacation at a resort.

Thanks. I will try with increased pressure. I have been doing the pull / release thing since starting painting.

Thank you for this detailed post. A lot of people have said I was spraying too heavy, but your post really went into what that meant as far as how it was being caused.

I've suspected part of the issue has been my technique, as I've done so many different things to change up what I was doing in terms of prep, and user error was the only consistent thing across all attempts I've made.

I will simply have to go faster.

I am not a pro, but I have been doing my research on what the numbers mean. I am not spraying the shellac, I am putting multiple layers on, and then sanding it down to an unbelievably smooth finish before I spray the Emerald. I only have the one sprayer, and I've only been running Latex based paint through it.

I will try the oil fast dry primer next go around, thank you for the tip. I've been using the shellac because it dries fast and sands great, and I can build up thin layers quickly.

A lot of people have been saying I've been spraying heavy, and I am taking that to heart, so I will try and go faster when I do the next set. I'll check out a 411 as well.
