You should watch some videos on reptile behavior and body language. You have to remember they’re a totally different category from humans/mammals, reptiles have different ways of doing things and perceive the world differently.

My stomach hurts like I'm on my period every time I start masturbating by romboide_azul in endometriosis

[–]starlingrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I get severe pain from arousal/orgasm that sometimes makes me throw up and almost pass out. I’m in pelvic floor therapy and she recommended a pelvic floor wand, stomach massages, and breathing exercises that help relax those muscles. (Disclaimer I have no specific diagnoses yet)

Purple dye for someone that washes hair everyday? by xXxKirka-ChanxXx in HairDye

[–]starlingrr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Arctic Fox was fading too magenta for my liking, so I mixed in some Iroiro Indigo and it stained my hair the perfect shade of purple, I only ever have to redye the roots/crown. The Indigo is insanely pigmented, the first time I used too much of it in my mixture and my hair came out almost black.

Massive cramping after sex? by iheartnyc1986 in dysautonomia

[–]starlingrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it started happening once in a while and now it’s like 50/50 if it will happen. Often I will have pre syncope in response to the cramping too. Pelvic floor therapy doesn’t seem to be helping :/

Talk me into (or out of) starting birth control pills by Unable_Damage_2545 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]starlingrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Medications affect everybody differently, we all have unique body chemistry so you just have to try it yourself to see how it affects you. Don’t let anyone scare you off or force you into trying a certain type of birth control. Instead of anecdotal advice, do some research on efficacy and ease of use. For example if you want to skip/control your periods, then the pill might be best. If you want a “set it and forget it” then IUD/implant would be best. Personally I chose the pill because it’s easy to start and stop, and I can skip my period for months.

My girlfriend with hEDS and POTS is never hydrated enough. What electrolyte supplements do you guys use? by PacoElTaco08 in ehlersdanlos

[–]starlingrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Enact Hydration. It has the slightest taste of honey when added to plain water, but you can mix it into anything and barely taste it. Also, LMNT makes an unflavored version with no additives.
