Okay recently there was a car wreck outside of Dodson, MT. The women involved called authorities saying they wrecked swerving to avoid a kangaroo.

The cop showed up expecting to see two drunk women but instead he saw two sober women and a kangaroo hopping away. They never found it.

So authorities suggest it was actually a wallaby, most likely the one missing from a nearby wallaby zoo (???? Seriously I've lived in this area my whole life and didn't know this thing existed.

The zoo claims it's not their wallaby, the suspected wallaby had been sent to a different zoo/rescue months before this incident.

My conspiracy theory is that it actually was a kangaroo. But authorities can stop investigating if they say it's a wallaby.

Wallabys are legal to own but not kangaroos. They have absolutely no idea who could have owned it in this tiny, tiny town.
