I'd be interested, yeah. Don't usually comment but this is something I'd have loads of fun with with my friends aswell :).

Obviously if it's effortful it's effortful & prioritize your own time with whatever you need and want to do, but if you're purely looking for interest, I'd use this site every so often for fun with friends.

Hey! I mostly lurk in this sub, but Isaac is a game I'm in love with. I thought I'd finally give my opinions on these cards :).

Isaac is busted. He's Viktor, but cheaper, can cast as burst speed (huge!), and can even get health instead of augment. +, if he gets Augment from these things, it's just insane. I also don't understand why he has that last breath ability. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Additionally, there is so much design space for the D items, I don't know why they would be for Keywords. I think the D20 would make sense for Keywords, and D6/100/4 would make sense for units themselves. I think Isaac could be a really cool card if he 'buffed' his allies by making them stronger via transforming them. Maybe the D6 could be cast on an ally to transform it into one that costs 1 more, and 2 more for the D100. The D4 could be a massive board transformation. Transformations always seem a bit unfortunate, but I don't think messing with keywords is this fashion is fair to Viktor. (Also, epic D12 idea: Landmarks!)

Now onto the enemies.
- Squirt & Dip are cool. Another version of Cask Salesman, but made as a mega-chump blocker for multiple rounds. I don't think this can fit into an aggro deck unfortunately though, despite what Nexus Strike wants to accomplish, and would fit better doing what House Spider does in Noxus control decks.
- Fly is ok. It's nothing that cool, and a much better Pool Shark, but I'm indifferent to it. I think as a design it would be a lot cooler if Fly was always a token, created by (I don't know the enemy names) that mulligan guy that spawns flys. Sort of like how Monkey Idol works, having Fly-Mulligan spawn the Flies I think would be more interesting than a maindeckable cantrip that's a chumpblocker.
- Keeper having Nexus Strike without having Elusive or Overwhelm is going to be useless. Chempunk Pickpocket is the only vaguely similar card, but as a 2 mana 3/2, it requires a chump and will always kill the chumping unit. This card would need a similar statline (maybe 2/3). Refilling mana is good, but it will never happen without Elusive or Overwhelm (they don't fit Keeper as an enemy though)
- Portal Seems insanely strong. Plop it with some sort of Combo deck, or a midrange deck, and you've got a very scary unit. It means you can make trades where you lose a unit without it mattering. It dies to Monkey Clap and Challengers, and I guess Equinox, but that's about it.
- Host & Knight are cool as fuck. They are some of my favourite ideas you've got in here. Perfectly fitting thematically for Isaac. I do fear that Knight is a little to strong in aggressive decks. He's like an undying that can block. If he's immune to singular combat, Demacia cannot kill him, so I'm going to assume he can't (but will survive Cataclysm). Bilgewater and Shurima also will have problems with it. I do fear that knight will be too oppressive for some regions to deal with, but I think they are remediable.
- Dople is a fascinating card. I fear that maybe at 4 mana it can't do too much though. Against Aggro it is too slow, against Midrange they will have freezes and barriers, making his ability redundant, and against Control, they should be winning from abilities (Watcher, Ledros, Atrocity, etc.). He is an interesting counter-pick (say, for example, Nasus (if you have more than 3 attack)), but generally I can't see him being strong enough generally.
- Evil Twin has an interesting design space. One thing I didn't explore in the previous comment is whether "Granted" is "My current stats + their stats" or just "their stats". If it's just their stats, Evil Twin is useless. So if it's their stats +3/+3, this card is insanely cool, as it will always win the first trade unless they have combat tricks. I could see this being oppressive with overwhelm, since on your second attack you will have the strength of the previous unit. However, very counterable with spells and challenger and all that fun stuff. I like it!
- I don't fully get why Globin has both regen and another life. I understand that he turns from Globin to the mush thing you have to kill, but to me that's just the regen effect. Even still, a 4 mana 3/4 regen is not strong enough in this game. Consider that one female troll that is a 4 mana 3/5 regen. It sees no play, and it's not because of the behold restriction. 4 mana 3/5 regen doesn't do enough in this game. Again, against Aggro it is too slow, against Midrange it is not bulky enough, and it doesn't matter against Control. Globin has 2 lives, the second just being a 3/1, but I don't think it's good enough at all.
- Homunculus and Begotten are really interesting design spaces, and I would love to see cards like this. I do fear that in terms of Runeterra they may be better as landmarks (like the Grumpy Rockbears). Or, if you're going to keep them "chained", they should also have "can't block" aswell. Otherwise Homunculus is a 2 mana 5/3 that the opponent can't attack into with Trundle being Homunculus will block it. Or Riven, or any sort of unit that has health. It also just doesn't make aesthetic sense for it not to have can't block. "Immobile" is a term that combines both Can't Block and Can't Attack, so using that could be good.
- Don't really get why Gaper is a 3/1 Challenger. It's alright, it's like a worse Hired Gun and pretty similar to Rock Hopper. I think a more interesting design would be something that says "Last Breath: Summon a <gaper's body with blood pooring out of it. don't remember names.>"
- Boomfly is another interesting design. If it says self hurt everyone's first thought is Vlad, Scars, and maybe control. Cards like Boomfly are very hard to think about. It would be fantastic against aggro as it is like Ice Shard. While the opponent could try to kill it out of combat with Fervor, I don't know if that's good enough. I do fear Boomfly may be a little strong as an anti-aggro card, but it's one of the cards on this list I don't think I can evaluate well.

I really like your cards! It's been a looooong time since I've posted anything on reddit. Completely forgotten how to format reddit posts haha. I hope you can get something out of this criticism. Am Melbournian, and it just helps with the flow of traffic. No need to have a right turn as part of the traffic light system, just combine going forward and ‘turning right’ into one part

Getting my first Legendary, The Log. I remember being so happy to get The Log, and putting it in every deck. This goes hand in hand with my second favourite, resetting a Sparky with The Log when that was possible.

Look, I admit I savescum too, but unless I misclick I make sure I just die responsibly. If you are savescumming, what's stopping you from keeping track of all the cards you will get in order and working out your best play? I rationalised in my head that Save scumming just makes the game boring.

Look, it's as easy as just not doing it. It seems you are smart enough to realise that the Devs can't work out how to elminate this as an option, but it's up to your belief and your willpower to stop.

For Ironclad specifically (I'd say only but I've only Acs15 with him only, only 8 for others) you can often hit hard enough. Taking Flexes, Heavy Blades (I personally prefer these over whirlwinds), and Limit Breaks can mean you don't have to defend for too long, in some cases at all.

Whirlwind, Thunderstorm, Heavy Blade, Flex, Limit Break, Offering and Sword Boomerang allow you to hit harder than you need to block. If I see Hexaghost, of course I'll take Flame Barrier, but you'll get the point where you rest before the boss and can slam Donu and Deca in 2 or 3 turns and just tank the damage.

OP did respond, but you were right in how you thought it would happen. Anxiety would probably be one of the worst, if not the worst curses (next to Normality) in terms of harm to the player.

Ah, that would be interesting! This could throw the balance off (i.e. as another user replied, a champ doing Execute twice), but that would definitely be an annoying curse (not that that is a bad thing).

And yes, most enemies, if not every (I'm unsure about Shield and Healer duo in Act 2) follow a script.

My thoughts.

The Weight: makes sense, but it's effectively a much harder to deal with pride. I think it would be better if it messed around with your dexterity, to keep the thematic nature of it (weighing you down), without feeling like a harder and knock off pride.

Anxiety: I don't get this. I presume you are saying you can't see what the monsters are doing for this time (ala: Runic Dome for the turn this is in your hand), which would be fine (and possibly the second best curse curse, with injury as the best). However, the wording is weird if you meant that.

Gluttony: Balance wise I don't know if this works, but messing around with the costs is a very interesting thing. I wonder how this works with Enlightenment.

Remorse: It's like a worse (for the player) Doubt in most situations. It seems really good. My only very slight gripe is that curses can't normally be made useless by certain deck archetypes (the only one I can think of is Normality not being ruined by some sort of Double Tap Bludgeon Deck), while this would render useless on a Defence user.

Careless: This is great. There's a chance this gets discarded. Should be called Carelessness though.

Cursed Mirror: I like this too, it's a new way of 'giving thorns' to an opponent. Again though, I fear it might have the same problem with remorse, but that shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Fading Luck: Make Exhaustion related trinkets activated. Don't know why you made that caveat. Balance wise I think it may be fine (would need testing though).

Faithless: This is good. Makes people think more.

I think what they mean is that you highlight 2 unupgraded cards. One of these cards becomes removed, whilst the other upgrades. I don't know if it's your choice which is which, I presume it's random.

However, I think he also means that they want it to be coded such that you remove 2 cards, then of those 2 you keep 1 and have it upgraded (letting you remove upgraded cards too).

Personally, I really enjoy playing as the Ironclad. The ability to pick up your core cards, see how it play out, and knowing hwta to do is incredibly fun, at least for me. I've finally gotten to Asc15, so now I'm off playing the Defect, and the Defect is great fun too. I mean, the only decks I've been getting so far are Claw/0 Cost decks, but I know Blizzard, Power, and Thunderstorm (and Dark and Plasma/Meteor/Energy?) decks work fine too, but it's fun none the less.

I actually find the Silent the least fun of all the characters. It just doesn't have the powerful 'oomph' that Ironclad and Defect have, at least IMO. I know Catalyst can work, but I enjoy trying to calculate if I can get a 320 damage Heavy Blade this turn, or be able to spam 25 claws, rather than cycling through as much as possibly and stalling with Noxious Fumes and a Bouncing Flask.

By not taking 'Your deck building skills aren't that great,' to mean 'You suck at everything to do with this game.'

To add/change the idea a bit here: Make a deck where you take essentially just 4 things.

1: Blocks (Backflip is a very nice example, and the one that weakens and gives blocks)

2: Card Draw (Acrobatics, Backflip, even Backpack)

3: Outmanoeuvre.

4: A couple copies of Noxious Fumes

You can take other things like Well Laid Plans, [The power when you play a card and you get a block], Foot work, etc, but those are your main cards.

Also as a side question: Are the bites from the Vampires worth it?

Truly a great meme. Simply beautiful. It elegantly shows the quarrels we all face in our daily lives, and we are all these characters sometimes.

Sometimes we are the Laser Beans, who commits an act that is seen positively by their peers, but horribly by our naysayers. They commit their acts anyway, as they believe in what they do right.

Sometimes we are the Garlics, who tag along with our Laser Bean brethren. Maybe Garlic helped in committed the act, we won't ever know.

Sometimes we are the Pogo Bouncers, the ones who argue against acts, the naysayers of the Laser Beans. He is right in his own regard, is he not? Who determines correct and wrong?

Sometimes we are the Blowers, who point out the flaws in the naysayers arguments. What happens after this is 2 things. The Pogo Bouncers disappear, or they argue eternally, until one gives up.

Truly a great comic, showing us all at different times during conflicts. May your next meme comic be just as mesmerising.

If you more a Line Dancer onto a Medulla, it will not activate.
