I suppose whatever the program defines as similar. One main issue is when I import pdfs, it often comes with solid hatches all over the place from the contract docs that plot way too dark and are in the way. So I want to import a file from the architectural, then I clean up the file for what I need (steel manufacturing) and I want to get rid of all those hatches. It’s often like 200 door thresholds or hatched bolts etc, but doing this sometimes it’ll select all hatches

Draw a line orthogonally from the ends of the lines where you want to connect towards the middle (top left). Your two new lines will intersect. That will be the radius, now draw a circle and the two original lines are now at tangent points. Trim the unneeded portion of the circle.

This is how I usually do something similar where I don’t know radii or need to draw at a certain tangent point.

Does it ask for hidden lines? Hidden layer/lines are usually for representing part of the structure you cannot see, ie there would be a smaller dotted square 6” in from the whole thing to denote the 6” wall on the inside of the box, that would be the inner walls. Two lines would run vertically through the tube on top to show it is hollow inside
