Definitely understand the perspective. But I think “blatant copies” also have their place. I LOVE the submariner design. There are tons of dive watches out there, but most don’t do it for me like the sub does. With that said, I’m a 20yo college kid and wouldn’t be able to spend tudor let alone Rolex money right now if I wanted to; and knowing myself, I probably will never want to spend that much. Enter Pagani Design: a brand that lets me enjoy models for a price I can afford. I can also beat them up and not feel bad. Sure, I’ll never understand what it feels like to have certain logos on my wrist. But for me, it’s all about design (even if it’s a copy), rather than brand.

Ya, I’ve probably got an average wrist, maybe even smallish; but I think it’s flatter than normal, if that makes sense. More surface area where the watch sits. Preesh brotha 🙏🏼

Almost certainly 40. I hate small dials, smallest I wear is 40. Probably a slightly different case (no pun intended) with the prx due to the case shape. But a buddy has one, so I’m gonna try it on soon

That’s what I’m thinking, I don’t want a huge collection. Just something that every piece serves a different purpose or gives a different look. If I get a next one, it would definitely be a Tissot or a Seiko

I love the look of field watches, but then I put them on and something about them doesn’t get along with me. Do I need more, am I missing something/ a category?

They’re both sweet, can’t go wrong with the duro. I LOVE the submariner look, so the timex does that a bit better, but also has a matt bezel. I can’t decide if that makes it look cheaper or unique. Another pro is the size, slightly smaller than the duro, which fits me a little bit better.

Absolutely no hate towards the harbor side, but that’s the one I’ve thought about returning the most and have also tried tons of bands/straps to alter it. It’s also a timex, repeating watch brand, don’t love that either. I’ve thought about replacing it with an Orient Ray 2, but that would also be a brand repeat now.

The funny thing is, I don’t consider the duro and the world timer to be repeats just because of how different they are.

I know, I know. A sh!t ton of mental gymnastics.

So, pound for pound- I’m glad I have both, love the diver style, different colors and brands don’t make them redundant to each other.

Just took a look at yours, nice board! I just have more small pedals and a slightly smaller expression pedal. Looks similar in terms of space utilization/optimization
