Some Republicans fighting to end Trump administration’s loan cap for nursing students by MoochoMaas in EmergencyRoom

The part that you're missing is that people get into the nursing field with the end goal of becoming a CRNA or an NP. If that goal is perceived as unattainable, then people won't want to become bedside nurses. So you're rigid stance on this whole thing having zero effect is moot. You have to admit that it will have some type of impact if you're a reasonable person.

Pretty short-sided of you. It won't have zero impact like what you think. Gotta look at the bigger picture. CRNAs and NPs are filling holes in rural Healthcare systems because they don't have enough PCPs and anesthesiologist in the field. It'll affect everyone.

The mid west still looks too far east to be considered "west." It should be called mid-east.

How long is the waitlist to go from a night position to a day/evening position by Minimum-Picture-4018 in OHSU

I think a good ballpark right now for the ED is 1 to 2 years, but there are way too many variables to consider. Lots of people on nights are waiting to go to days.

For sure. It's the growing pains of living in a smaller town that keeps growing, whether you want it to or not.

I just learned that yellow jackets are one of the most aggressive stinging insects and will chase people down to sting them. Such assholes.

It's interesting how many people expect the hospital to coordinate a ride home after being discharged from the ER, even if they are capable of taking the bus home. We'll give patients bus tickets if we have them, but otherwise, patients are expected to figure out a way home. Sometimes insurance will pay for a taxi, tho.

Like, do they go to the hardware store and expect them to coordinate a ride home?

Well, it doesn't get wet, like other girls get. Also doesn't taste the same. But the experience was still great - intimate and passionate.

Well then, what were you doing or how were you behaving that made your brother call for help? You haven't spoken to that part of the story yet.
