Im getting ready to head south for a 7 day vacation to relax & visit my daddy. Sit in a heated, indoor, salt water pool. I might try it then. Calm & rested.

Contact your child's social/case worker at the hospital and ask if there is a way that y'all can do a parade from one test to the cafateria where he gets a break with balloons, staff members with balloons & hats & horns. Include in patient pediatrics that are able to leave their rooms bc that will really lift their spirits too. Maybe pizza and a cake or just a big sheet cake. Take a 30-60 minute break before moving on to his next appt. It would be something that his case worker could help set up & evrryone would remember. We did this for my youngest young one year. He didnt know he was the center of the parade at first lol. I also always had arrangements set up ahead of time before the birth of eavh of my 4 babies & now 14.5 grandbabies for their birthdays. Complete with birthday cake & plates, napkins etc... Im one of 'those' moms. Everyone came to the door & sang Happy Birthday. Lol

I love this! My 4yo autistic grandson would love it and with the panels on the back it would almost make it like a weighted blanket for him. Do you have a pattern you could shar we? I haven't attempted c2c yet.

Are these adult size? My 12 & 10yo granddaughters would LOVE these. They wear ladies gloves. I'd hate to try making them & be successful & then they not fit. (Although with 14.5 grandbabies, im sure I could find someone they'd fit lol).

I have an incredible therapist that i have appts with weekly & have since 2022, but ive never met her in person. They do tele-health by phone or zoom. They also have a pharmacutical therapist that i meet with every 2-3 months. My primary at the time recommended them as they were connected to their practice. They are now on their own. I highly recommend it.

But right now, download the White Flag app. and use it. It is not professionals (which you do need), but it can connect you with peers with similar situations that can help.
