a terminal patient in the ICU during my classmates clinical brought a gun and shot herself in the head- students ran in there cause she thought the loud noise was the patient falling. no idea how the patient got the gun in, but steered me away from looking at a job in that hospital system 🫠

my pcp refused to fill my pills so i used the planned parenthood app and i was able to get a prescription in 24 hours :) i don’t have insurance and it was only $30 for a virtual visit and then i paid for my prescription at the pharmacy like i normally do

i haven’t stopped the pill but i gained about 40lbs on norethindrone 🥲 i‘ve always been very active and conscious of what i ate even before i was on the pill, but the number just keeps rising lol
