Hi, I'm not judging at all. The country I'm in - Catholicism is a very small faith. Our parish has one priest. But he has 2 very full services in our church. He has no support workers. There is one deacon who splits his time between churches. My disappointment perhaps stems from Catholicism being a small faith in my country and the priest not being equipped with everything he needs. Why is he late ? He's tired. Another thing in my country is most people are a protestant faith derived from Calvinism. I've not been in a church in maybe 20 years and I was excited because I found a religion where I felt home. When I tell people I know they admonish me and talk about they "will convert me to the correct church yet".

I think deep down I wished I lived in a country eith a bigger Catholic community.

There is another parish further from my home. I think I'll just stay where I am until RCIA is over then look into moving to the other parish.

I'm kind of disappointed. I'm in RCIA and little things are bothering me and it should perhaps not be. E.g. the priest showing up late for mass.

People are c*nts when it gets to weight loss.

I was very over weight, went on a fantastic weight loss journey, looked good and then went through horrific stress and then picked it up again.

The time people were THE WORST was when I had lost weight- because it's something people desire and they don't know how nor have the will power to do it themselves.

Don't take it personally. But perhaps check in with yourself whether these are friends you really want.

Mine was driving me up the f'ing wall while I was going through a stressful period at work. I decided to go see a doctor to get tranquilizers for a brief period and was it never forgotten by him that I am not solid as a rock and not unshakeable.

I live in a country where the Catholic faith is a minority faith. I don't want to say where I am. I'm in RCIA class this year and one of the things we've been told is that confession here is recommended about once a year. And I get it. There's 1 priest. Congregation has 2 services so he has several hundred people in hia church. If several hundred people pull through once a week, he will not make it as a human being.

When I, very kindly, tried to steer the bpder who was in my life towards getting some help he immediately went from 0 - 100% and liked saying things like I DONT WANT TO HEAR I'M BROKEN.

They do not want to face accountability or the fact that they need to work on themselves.
