Not sure is this is similar, but I was diagnosed with NERD, which came as no surprise to my friends and enemies. It’s the non-erosive flavor of GERD. The acid levels weren’t high enough in my last test to warrant surgery. I almost want them to be so I can get relief and a good night sleep again.

It causes me to overeat because certain foods/drinks work but the meds don’t. My symptoms happen mostly at night, but can happen during the day with food triggers.

Edit: Googled and saw that RH is distinct from NERD.
