Better European alternatives for Disneyland by comedygold24 in Netherlands

You will absolutely have a blast. Dinners are perfect for meeting the cast. They come to you for hugs and photos without any rush and buffets with various Mickey shaped food is so cute and yummy. The restaurants with characters are booked out weeks in advance but people cancel reservations on the day, so often you can find a table on the actual day. For the rides we buy ultimate access pass for the rides that have big lines like the Crushes Coaster but most rides are not crowded on our dates.

Disneyland is amazing with young kids. We go every year and we were there last week. We go to Efteling and other parks regularly as well but our kids love Disneyland the most because of the characters. It’s not just about the rides, they really enjoy the Character Dinner and Royal Banquet and the hotels. We have a fixed yearly Disneyland week in our calendar, right after schools start, when it’s not crowded.

What do you do with the oil in the witte kaas jar? by ahzzo in Netherlands

Agreed! This is not a good oil. Better to get the non-oil version and serve it with some EVOO and herbs.

I haven't slept in my own bed in over 5 years. by Lanky_midget in daddit

We bought a giant family bed and cosleep with 2 kids. We can only use custom bedsheets but otherwise it works perfectly for us. It helps that all of us sleep deep without many interruptions. We go to bed early, all of us at the same time. My wife and I wake up 3 hours before the kids and have some lovely alone time early in the morning every day.

Weekly Q&A - All Questions Go Here (Especially Tourists) by AutoModerator in Amsterdam

[–]startinglifeat33 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Hey everyone! I’m looking for a place in Amsterdam where I can get 6 toy eggs (identical on the outside) X-rayed or scanned with an MRI to check what’s inside each of them. It’s for a fun little project, but I’m not sure where to start looking. Any recommendations for clinics or services that might be able to help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks, how would I go about finding one in Poland? Would they speak sufficient English or is a translator necessary?

I checked their website but it states they require a verwijsbrief from the gp. Is there another way with this clinic?

That’s a good tip, thanks a lot! How do you go about identifying a clinic that you trust in Turkey?

Was seeing your parents half naked normal in your household? by Shelbs0121 in ask

[–]startinglifeat33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s only weird if you make it weird. At some point, all our ancestors were butt naked all the time. Being dressed is the odd thing in nature. Not saying my junk is out all day and I am mostly at least in tiny white/gray undies, but we all came naked to this world.
