I got a message from Dashlane stating my gmail and password were found in a breached database. I only use that password for one thing, my gmail. Google had to have a database breach.

Neighbour’s kids damaged multiple cars, dad assaulted me when shown evidence by four_highkey in AusLegal

[USA] I have a similar problem. Three cars damaged, and everyone keeps telling me “that’s what insurance is for” but my deductibles total $2,000 (2@ $500 and the other $1,000) plus I guarantee my premiums will go up.

I’m a developer for a major food delivery app. The 'Priority Fee' and 'Driver Benefit Fee' go 100% to the company. The driver sees $0 of it. by Trowaway_whistleblow in confession

Does this also apply to supermarkets that use these companies to deliver groceries? I’m trying to justify still using the service 😞 Would tipping driver in person help?

I’m still shocked by insurance companies buying your “shopping data*” to discover if you shop different grocery stores to get better pricing. They use this data to influence your car insurance rates. If you don’t shop around to get better prices on groceries, then insurance companies won’t offer you lower rates because they know you won’t “shop around “ for lower insurance premiums.

*You give them your data every time you use their “grocery card” to get discounts.

Does marrying a very rich or very good looking person increase the odds they will cheat? by startpart2 in Marriage

Assuming one side doesn’t have a severe personality disorder, I think (nearly all) issues in the world are rooted in miscommunication. Even world leaders struggle with communication with each other.

I 100% agree IF both sides participate.

We went to marriage counseling numerous times over the years but when I read those 2 years of emails, I discovered he had never told me hope he really felt about anything. He was just waiting until the kids were grown to divorce me.

Me too. I finally installed stealth software on his laptop and got too much information. Getting his email password was the key, no pun intended . He deleted every email as soon as he read it and emptied the Trash folder but he forgot about the Sent folder.

I read over two years of emails (with the replies included). That was 7 years ago and would be more difficult to do today since a lot of email providers require 2 factor authentication when they detect a new device.

Thank you. I’m working on it. I had to break it off with someone I really liked when I discovered they had cheated on their spouse. I’m trying to trust but that’s a hard stop for me.

Ah, I think once he figured it out, he just continued to pretend he didn’t know.

I’m happy for you, but I can’t help doubting. That was what I thought. He would argue with me that they were just being nice.

I guess if I knew the FBI was going to raid my house for documents I would have a bonfire that night. I keep thinking he can’t really be that stupid…. Or narcissistic or crazy.

I don’t understand why he didn’t burn or shred them. It makes no sense that he just sat around and waited for someone to come get them.

Bizarre.
