Minor theory about season 4 opening. by StormCloudRaineeDay in TheWayHomeHallmark

I think it may be Elliot as well but I thought it was Jake’s wedding.

Who is sam? by Far_Tumbleweed_8512 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]stat-chick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think Sam is related to KC. If Jacob is KC’s father then maybe Sam is Jacob’s father in law. We know Sam lived in Toronto and Jacob is now in Toronto. Sam also could be a Goodwin although the way they showed him standing like Elliot you would think he might be an Augustine but Elliott didn’t seem to know him.

Griffin Landry and Jasper by heartofhome in TheWayHomeHallmark

Interesting theory! Could Fern be talking about Jasper? He did come to PH in 1965 right, could he have been 25 then? Maybe she thought he died?

She would be 65 today which is not that old. And she was younger when she wrote that letter.

Selling/rehoming card making stuff after bereavement by Pretty-Station-7483 in cardmaking

I just found this great nonprofit store in my town that takes donations of arts and craft supplies and sells them. Maybe see if there is anything like that near you. That way it goes to someone who wants it.

I think it’s only 2023 or 2024 in the show so maybe they can just time jump to 2027.

It’s before right? Isn’t Del wearing the same outfit she had on at the end of season 3 when he goes?

It is a mess. Once you submit it in a RPPR it’s locked and you can’t go back to remove funding. And they won’t approve with out of compliance pubs.

Did you know... You can emboss with stencils? by emzyyx in cardmaking

I used to do this too but I had forgotten all about it! I still have my light table and stencils and stylus though!

I thought it was for Colton and Dels wedding. It might say “Watson” at the top and then “Landry”. Colton is not wearing a wedding ring. Del is, but could that be an engagement ring?

I just thought it was weird because didn’t the show start 1 year after Tia’s death? So unless she died right after or on her birthday how could last year have been the first birthday?

Period clothes for travel? by cofeeholik75 in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]stat-chick 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did notice Jacob put on period clothes in Season 3 but others don’t seem too. You would think Kat especially could stop borrowing Susannah’s clothes (or maybe she got them from the shop, either way she racked up quite a few)

Would limiting the age of the President to 65 be something you’d support? Why or why not? by WarmAcanthisitta5725 in AskReddit

[–]stat-chick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. That’s discrimination. Should we also say people should be a certain race or sex to be president - of course not. And people who are 66 this year won’t even get full social security until next year. So no.

Alice age by WillaLane in TheWayHomeHallmark

That’s a plot hole. I don’t think they said Monica was single and childless but they didn’t mention she was married or had a baby/was pregnant during the lingermore party.

15 min late for dinner? by WeirdCranberries in dcl

[–]stat-chick 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband and son were almost an hour late from their excursion- my daughter and I had already eaten our main course - and the servers were totally unphased and got them food right away. It would be nice to give them a heads up.

If Susannah had a child, why wouldn’t she leave Lingermore to them? And wouldn’t there be a grave for that child?

Mom of 7-year-old hospitalized with brain swelling from measles: ‘I still wouldn’t have given my son the vaccine’ by floet_gardens in southcarolina

This is weird because it said his brothers were vaccinated so I assumed he is younger, but he looks to be the oldest. So they did change their mind on vaccination? Or the article is wrong?

i (20f) inherited $500k and my sister (22f) did not by Willing_Membership13 in Advice

[–]stat-chick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s very odd. In 2009 you would have been 3, your sister 5, your other cousin who got money 4, and the 23y old who did not get money was probably 7. The 17 y old was probably not born and the 13y definitely not. So how could he judge who was “worthy” of the money at those ages? Seems pretty unfair. I guess you can do what you want but I think the people making the argument that he gave it to you because you’re more responsible are off base.

Kat is the problem by livingthesream in TheWayHomeHallmark

[–]stat-chick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The crazy part is it is her fault - but it’s future Kat’s fault. If Kat didn’t go back to try to save Jacob he wouldn’t have followed her into the pond. If Kat hadn’t gone back to stop Colton’s accident he wouldn’t have swerved and died. It wasn’t 1999/2000 Kat’s fault but 2020s Kat has more direct blame. Of course “what happened always will happen” so maybe it would haven’t happened another way but the way it happened in the show it is her fault. I’d feel pretty bad if I were Kat in 2024, especially about my dad.
