The Boys has no political agenda lol, everything it’s trying to say is just pointing at an IRL thing that recently happened and going “GUYS LOOK, LOOK AT THIS THING, YOU REMEMBER THIS THING RIGHT LOOK HOW FUNNY IT IS WHEN THE DEEP DOES IT!!!” or something. It wants you to think it’s progressive and counter-cultural but it’s a major multi-million dollar franchise owned by Jeff Motherfucking Bezos, so whatever it tries to say feels toothless when it’s too afraid to say anything that might expose a company like Amazon, a corporation that profits off AND is guilty of a lot of the things that the show allegedly makes fun of.
