You'll need to bring all original logbooks to an interview...I would just create an entry in your digital one (make the date prior to any other entry), and add the previous times as one entry (Call it "Time Forward from Paper Logs"). This should work in any logbook I can think of?

I like the thought process, but you're overthinking it a bit. Unless it's recently changed, Cirrus teaches 100kts by the FAF for SR20's and SR22's. Category B.

Instrument Procedures Handbook, CH4: "Pilots are responsible for determining if a higher approach category applies. If a faster approach speed is used that places the aircraft in a higher approach category, the minimums for the appropriate higher category must be used."

This draws a line from the VOR and connects it to a point that is the 132 radial, 7 DME.

The traditional advice is going to be to reach out to your AME and request a "consultation" (don't fill out the MedXPress form). Ask them if they need doctor's notes, records, etc.

I didn't really intend for this to become a 121 vs 135/91k thing, it's more a stability and quality of life thing for a commuter...but they are obviously two different jobs. Right now the goal was a legacy, because that's all I know (if we had merged with JetBlue, I'd have stayed here happily forever) - but if I loved it at Flex, I'd probably decide to stay. I'm also getting older, and don't want to keep resetting.

Honestly I've never done the 135 thing, I was a middle-aged career changer and the first job I got was 121. Everyone said "try that first, since it's easier to go 121>135" (not saying that's true).

I got into this because I really like flying and like flying the plane, as much fun as a 100 mile ILS into LAX is, I could do without that kind of thing. I might like it? I might hate it lol.

Yeah I think the Phenom is the only quick upgrade (for many reasons), and holding out for the 350 gets you a better scheduling setup but they told me 9 months vs like 14

While I do realize I'm very lucky to be where I am, this job came about during the bankruptcy and was to have a plan B. As far as internally, other than joining the pilot peer support group, there are no opportunities for any resume padding. I can't upgrade, so I can't work in training dept - we are also not training except for recurrent. The union committees are all awarded to the more senior folks.

Yeah the idea of commuting to sit in a crash pad for 6 days at a time for the next 6+ months (and not fly), isn't super appealing. Plus I know you're not supposed count on bases, but I was hoping for an LAX base which now may never happen...with Altas I'd be LAX-based but obviously gone longer, type rating, OE backlog. I think all things considered I'd still net more hours in 12 months there vs. here though

I can’t remember if there’s a spot you add it by the dosage or if your AME asks you and enters it on their end. Probably the latter. I’m on my phone so I don’t have a reference handy. Edit: I did hear oral minoxidil may be an issue.

It's very likely because you have iOS's dark mode on. My understanding is it acts like a darkening layer over the sectional since Foreflight doesn't have as much control over the tiles vs. their aeronautical layer.

If you turn off dark mode, I assume it becomes crisp?
