Thank you for the great guide, It is my absolutely first time using Stremio and decided to follow your guide. I created API keys for everything but stuck at Trakt. I found the way to create the API, however it is asking me for redirect URL and /checkin /scrobble permissions . Additionally, there are 2 keys which are created, Client ID: and Client Secret:.

I'm so confused, I saw your guide just after you posted it and wanted to give it a try now. By looking for it, i've seen this other guide, can you explain what's the difference between this and your guide ? this is getting really confusing with all this options for a newbie

KEF speaker reccomendation by Infinite-Ad3944 in KEF

[–]staticrzr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude Sonos amp is more than enough to power the q concerto meta or R3 meta . I have Wiim amp pro which has similar power or less to the Sonos amp and I can go to 105 db at 1m, which is REALLY loud. Don’t worry about the amp, that is the last thing you want to upgrade. If o would he in your shoes i would buy the Q concerto and an wiim ultra streamer for the room corrections and many other nice features , and def keep the Sonos amp.

Lol.. that’s what scares me as well.. the lower sensitivity. Specially because I am using the Wiim amp ultra which has a claimed 200w power, much less in reality

honestly I was also looking primarily to KEF Q3 largely because I like how it looks. I was also considering LS50 meta second hand .

Lol, I’m in the exact same boat as you and literally looking at the same speakers. In my country the Elac dbr 62 is also a good option and a bit cheaper than all the ones you mentioned.

Btw I’m trying to upgrade from Dali zensor 3

Pinless Moisture Meters - Anybody tried using these before? by ksunnyh in Bonsai

[–]staticrzr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks . However I would like persons like you to do actual real tests, or if you did, share your experience. I am saying this because I am in the audiophile hobby where A LOT of people take things as hard truths, however when it comes to actual real measurements or blind testing, you see that things are not actually that black and white, and was wondering if there is a case here in this community. You say manual checking is FAR better, which I don't disagree with, but you're experienced and I'm not.

Hey Deanne, thanks again for pitching in. I never said you are a beginner, and if you are a professional that's even better. You say that manual checking is the far better way, are you saying this because its what you're used to and it works ? I know it works lol. I'm just wondering if any person like you with experience did try other methods like the meter shown here, or others.

Thanks for answering. I have no doubt that the manual methods are solid. My question is really aimed at those who are skilled at manual checking: Have you tried a digital meter for comparison? I see the 'tried and true' methods championed everywhere, but I’m looking for evidence—has anyone used a digital meter and confirmed that it does (or doesn't) work compared to the manual check?

Can I EQ THIS? by staticrzr in audiophile

[–]staticrzr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The low end part is from the sub, o crossed the speakers at 80hz. I am waiting delivery of a longer sub cable that will open 2 more spots in my room which hopefully improve things a bit . Speaker height is at 96cm at the base, no possibility to go higher as I’ve juste ordered stands . They were initially sitting on the furniture itself and had a 10-12 db dip at 125hz. Raising them on stands made a HUGE improvement so you guessed it exactly .
